In addition to poor preparation of pizzas and unreasonably high rates for them, Papa John’s Pizza Outlet in Vadodara is charging exorbitantly high tax which you only come to know when the bill for the trash you have had is served to you. As you see the bill, it further firms up your resolution not to visit the horrible place again in your life and also to guide your loved ones and friends not to fall in the trap of these cheats.
On 29/08/2010 I visited Papa John’s Pizza Outlet at More Megastore, Manjalpur, Vadodara (Bill No. 21240500001722). Total of items ordered as per the menu rates was Rs. 608/-. Service Tax of Rs. 60.80/- @ 10% of billed amount was charged. Further VAT of Rs. 100.31/- was also charged, which comes to 16.5% of billed amount. So total tax paid by me was 26.5%!!
Can anyone throw some light on above… as to what is going on. Can we not teach them a lesson for cheating consumers?? Please send me reply by email.
