My father was shifted to CMC hospital for treatment of Inter cerebral bleed and renal failure under critical condition on 29/11/2011. he was shifted to ICU after 3 days he was shifted to Neurology ward and treatment continued he was improving well. meanwhile the medical exams of the students started and my dad was shifted to medical ward for practical exam of the medical students where he was kept for two days he was greatly panic due to disturbance by the students lastly we refused to further cooperated for exam and asked us to shift us back to neurology ward. after a few days of good improvement he was shifted to nephrology department for renal treatment and was regularly and dialyses but there his health started to fall as the care given at the said was not as good as previous and suddenly one day he became very critical and was re shifted to ICU and we were asked to arrange money @15000 per day till then we had paid 1,15000 as advance and 80,000 as cash for medicine and test we were unable to arrange more money since he was govt employee we requested the department to give medical advance they agreed to give after getting a medical certificate and cost estimation the hospital issued both documents on 2 Jan 2012 and in the medical certificate did not mention that the patient's condition was highly critical. And in the cost estimation they made a proposal of around 8.5 lakh including 3 lakh outstanding. Both the documents were submitted to dad's department on 4 Jan 2012 but before the department could issue Check in the name of CMC hospital My father was declared dead on same day 4 Jan 2012. Now the department can not issue any amount directly to the Bank. Neither we are in a condition to pay as my father was the only bread earner. i have committed the hospital to may the remaining balance as soon as i get medical reimbursement even i have agree to give this commitment in the form of affidavit . i have requested the hospital again and again to hand over the bill that has to be submitted to the department for medical reimbursement. but after explaining my financial crisis and incapability several times the hospital is not ready give the bills and they are keeping on writing to the Department for payment of balance.They are asking me to give 50% advance and a blank Check in order to get the bill. pls help me to get a suitable solution for the same.
