This is a case of clear audacity on the part of the obstetric gynaecologist at BGS Apollo Hospital Mysore who did not even bother to carry out an elective Caesarean section on an elderly primigravida (my wife Soumya Biju) which led to the unfortunate demise of both mother and our full-term baby. The staff in the hospital were absolutely incompetent in managing the situation and could give only the diagnosis as Amniotic Fluid Embolism not mentioning due to what reason it happened.

If this is the case in such a big hospital like Apollo Hospital, God save those patients!!!
