My Sister had completed nursing in Aug 2009 from Bangalore and through an agent she got job in Abhaya Hospital as a staff nurse. There was a bond signed for 1.5 years and if she leaves the job within that period, she needs to pay Rs 25k. The hospital authority had kept her certificates as security.

However after working for 6 months, due to some family issues, she had to leave her job and go back home. The agent through whom she got job, contacted her and told her that if she pays Rs 10k to him, he will then get the certificates from the hospital. The agent claims he is a registered agent of Abhaya Hospital.

Since my sister didnt knew much about fake agents, she blindly trusted him and gave Rs 10k. Its now almost 3 months over, the agent neighter gave the certificates nor did he return the money. Whenever we call him, he tells that he will will return in 2 days.
We even went to the hospital to enquire about him with them, but the hospital has denied having any contact with him.

Is there any way we can get help in this. We dont have any receipt of money paid.
What we have is:
-> phone number of agent
-> few SMS's which were send b/w us
-> last 3 months phone call list ( called/received calls)

I enquired and came to know this guy is a cheat and have done the same with many students promising them to provide jobs.
I would be very grateful if you could help us.
