i am working as emergency medical officer in Hazrat Haleema Maternity & General Hospital, Malerkotla, punjab, (which is run by the Punjab Waqf Board), since one yr,two months on contract basis for a period of 2yrs, but now i required maternity leave for 6 months, which was refused by the management, stating that such kind of long leaves are not given in contractual services, however no official documented contract regarding any rules of the hospital were provided by the administration prior to my joining. i have now been terminated from my duty without any prior notice. Hence i would like to know the rules & regulations regarding maternity leave, & the rules for termination of duty on contractual basis. please notify me as soon as possible. thankyou.
