    Angry Jugura Hospital Bhayandar East

This is a complaint regarding wrong treatment by the doctor and staff of Jugura Hospital Bhayandar East. I had a acidity attack and same time my blood pressure increased to 190. I called my local doctor Dr.Prerna Goel who immediately sent me to Jugura Hospital and got me admitted. Although I kept on insisting i do not want to get admitted. But Dr. Prerna and Dr. Singh from Jugura Hospital told me that they cannot take risk and i should be kept under observation for two days which went uptill four days.(naturally to increase the hospital bills) Finally on the fifth day when i asked a discharge i was given a lumpsum bill of 18,000/-. And the charges were ridiculus. And top of this the misbehaviour of the untrained staff was another pain. They could not even properly give injection. As a result i have got blue spots on my both the arms. I myself have been a staff nurse with a government medical college for 25 years. Its been really disgusting to be mishandled by such inefficient people. I genuinely feel i have been cheated with no valid reason. I hope somebody can help me in dealing with this people.

COMPLAIN to the Maharashtra Medical Council and the Medical Council of India. Ask them to take strict disciplinary action against the directors of this hospital. Follow up vigorously.

This country is slack in justice-delivery. Consumer Protection Laws are weak. Compensation and damages are a pittance. This is what cultivates and emboldens service providers to play with customers. Needless to add it is corruption and laziness that are the hallmarks of this never-developing country. Add to it the backwardness of places like Bhayandar or Mira Road that fall in the Thane District and not in Bombay where the Law is stricter.

Bhaktivedanta Hospital in Mira Road also has similar disservice attitude and is a headache to customers. Its service in devotion to money and achieving patient kill is well known in the area. People go to such hospitals only in emergency and then immediately move out when the patient is stabilised. Pity on you you are staying in such a backward place. May God help you.
