This is mail which I sent to Medical Director of Puspanjali Hospital;Sector 1; Vaishali;Ghaziabad;201010. Hospital almost took life of my father yesterday.




This is not first time when I am bringing into your notice the sad state of affair at your hospital. I was force to transfer my father yesterday night in absence of treatment and infrastructure at your hospital. You can confirm it from your staff there. There are few thing which happen which are blatant violation of even medical protocol. I think it is fit to bring into your notice before I should escalate is further to concern authority. Thing are as under:?

• We went first to your hospital after my father suffered a seizure on 6th September;2010 under Consultant “ Dr. B.K.Gupta. That timer too; After lot of persuasion and when thing escalated to you; Dr. Gupta came and treatment got further. We were told that condition got stabilized. He got discharged. ISSUE: My Father was constantly complaining of back pain that time. Nobody taken his complain seriously and discharged him.
• We came back to you in OPD again on 13th;September;2010 with complain of Lower back severe pain. This time Dr. Raj Kumar came into picture. He done preliminary test and found L1 Compressive fracture in Lower back and asked us to admit my father on 14th September;2010 for surgery. He went through all the earlier paper. We admit him on 14th; September;2010; and In the morning . Dr. Rajkumar came and gave us date of surgery on 15th;September;2010. In the evening; Anesthetist came and found that he is on blood thinner and it has to be stopped before going ahead with surgery. Before that I had to write a mail to you on the way against your staff who were demanding security cheque illegally. Ultimately; My father underwent surgery on 18th;sep 2010. ISSUE:1. Dr. Rajkumar Wrongly assured us that my father got relief on bed. Pain continue much longer after that. 2. I think Dr. Raj Kumar has not gone through basics of Medical science when he missed that my father is on blood thinner still he decided for surgery and we had to unnnessary spend 3 more days in hospital and we had to pay that from our pocket.3.Dr,Rajkumar ignore the complain of weakness by my father and discharged him on 20th;September;2010.Due to that my Father suffer seizure same day in the night and had to re admitted in your hospital again next day in emergency. 4. Dr. Raj Kumar response throughout; My sergury is succeful and I am responsible for that only.
• My father had to admit again 21st September;2010 for seizure. Lot many issues started after that. 1. In the emergency; He was fitted with Catherater instead of condom catherating . Next morning when bleeding was observed in urine pipe and Doctor Rajesh Gupta was infor early in the morning; with going through case of patient he instructed duty doctor form stoping administrating “ecosprine “ which was not stopped even during surgery. I had to intervene and took responsibility of continuing Ecosprine and change chatherater to Condom catherator then situation got improved. 2. Dr. rajKumar came to visit and every time he says that he is seeing customer in sitting position which we never seen. And insisted on his walking even though it makes his situation worse. Probabily he is hallucination or drunk. Situation was going worse and he every time maintains that his operation is successful and I need to consult other for improvement. 3.Yesterday night there was some medicine went inside during nebulisation after which breathlessness started but duty doctor vehemently dening that. 4. My Father started breathlessness around 10.45 and Nurses were informed by my mother then. It took 25 Mins for your duty doctor ;Dr. Chitra to attend my father . After attending ; she said it is nothing serious except cough and her approach was very casual. 5. Around 11.45 PM; situation got worse and he was in acute breathlessness and feeling uneasy. Doctor Chitra was nowhere to seen. On Jr. consultant come to our rescue and he said condition is worsening and he contacted Dr. Priya Gupta who asked him to shift him to ICU. Then he and Duty nurse started for ICU and reply I got that ICU bed is not vacant hence my father had to stay there in ward. 6. No cardio or other doctor visited meantime. 7. When I had no option but to call for ambulance from Escort as They shown there inability to treat my father and they seen me calling Ambulance then Support Doctor started coming for doing formality. 8. After Ambulance came ; I had to argue with your billing people for discharge.
• To add to misery; My TPA had asked for query which was sent to Doctor on day before yesterday. But he managed to misplace that.

Sir; This is state of affair at your Hospital and for this admission I have been charge `50000/-. I just hope my TPA rejects your bill which are falsely made as your have been not providing any treatment to my father and bring my father into danger to life. For your kind information Situation of my father got statblised in CCU in Escort. I think this is fit case to raise my consumer right with concern authority and I feel duty bound to do that. You kindly advise me what should I do. Eagerly waiting for your revert.
