Sir/Madam,

I am a resident of Santoshpur, Kolkata, staying close to 3rd road. Recently, i had a medical emergency during an afternoon (not a sunday), but unfortunately, could not find any open pharmaceutical shop in this entire locality from where i could get the necessary medications.
This is a very common problem throughout Santoshpur, Kolkata. To buy medicines, we have to wait at the whims of the shop owners and the workers to open the pharmacies. Furthermore, in this hot summer, pharmacies are kept close till late in the evening. Then, what would happen if any emergency occurs during the afternoons or early mornings? Do the sick patients have to wait for them? These pharmacies, as far as I know are meant to be open for 24 hours, being kept close only one day a week.
Sir/Madam, I kindly request you to look into this matter seriously, and please consider that these shop owners maintain the dignity of their licenses.

It is not only a problem for area, it is also a problem almost every place.I think you should discuss about owner of the stores about keeping their stores open alternatively so at least one store is open all the time.
If they disagree then according to Mark you should contact consumer court.
