    This is Manish Pareek this side, using my airtel number for the past 4 years now.

    Some time is the last two months i had a problem of my phone being used for some GPRS service which i was not using. For the same i made calls to the customer care excutive on 121 hoping to solve this issue. It took time but it got solved after a very long and tiresome period of two weeks. And i also confirmed that i have not been using an services or any internet was active on my phone.
    But very recently i have started facing a very peculiar problem for almost over two weeks that it so happens, every now and then a certain amount (everytime its different) is getting deducted on its own and for the same i get an sms from Airtel stating that i have used up some friends chat service.
    I have called up the customer care unit everytime and made a complaint and was assured that this will not be repeated again but all of that goes to wain when it keeps on repeating on its own. I have made complaints to the unit starting from 23rd of June, 2010 (Rs 6), then on the 29th of june, 2010 (Rs 10) and then again today that is the 9th of July, 2010 (Rs 30). After that i get a sms that my service is deactivated and then suddenly again i get a msg from some unknown number (5432162245797). These sort of messages keep disturbing me all day and even late in the night while im fast asleep.
    I have been reimbursed these above mentioned amounts very kindly but this thing of deduction of amount from my prepaid account and the irritation that it causes every time it happens and i have to make a call to get my amount back when im not using any of the services.
    I have been confirmed that there are no services active on my phone for any friends chat and yet im being charged, how can i take it. My latest complaint number is 173500.

    Unhappy Airtel deducted Rs. 15 for Missed call alert service, which i never subscribed to.

    I today got and sms from airtel (54888) saying that Rs 15 have been deducted from my account balance. And that was for the missed call alert service that i never even subscribed to. I m just not interested in that.. But without my permission Airtel enabled the subscription and deducted Rs 15. Airtel keeps on doing such things quite often.. This should stop or else we all should start looking for an honest and better service provider.

    Default Airtel Is Scratching Money from my account instead of Begging Directly.!!

    I'm using 9970407367 airtel number. AIRTEL deducted 140 rupees from my account as a text came suddenly that thank you for downloading java games and you have been charged 40 rupees & immediately next message as thanks for downloading java game and I've been charged 99 rupees again, as a totall of 139 rupees.! I'm using Internet pack already, when I spoke to a customer care executive on 5.30 AM., he checked the system and appologized for the inconvenience happened and asked me to call after 6 AM saying that after 6AM only they can refund., but after 6AM I started to call till night 11 PM, no response from Airtel., they simply disconnect the call, so I triied to contact the nodal officer MUMBAI, I only heard the Airtel music for 6 minutes, for which I've been again charged for 3 rupees and after 6 minutes the call was disconnected from their side! Later I tried from my friends airtel mobile, they attended the call in first attempt itself and when I told about the complaint the person checked everything in compuuter and said that he ll transfer the call to his senior, the senior person also checked and said that my request is in progress, and it will be solved in 3 days, altogether they said for 1 week processing time also no assurance of refunding my money. Did the network operators grown up by scratching the money from poor peoples only? Why can't they be honest when a begger can? I TRUST CONSUMER COURT THAT ATLEAST IT WILL TAKE SOME CORRECT ACTION AGAINST THIS CORRUPTIVE AIRTEL AND PROVIDE ME PROPER SOLUTION. As a student (INDIAN NAVY) I cannot study or concentrate on anything for the past 1 week, please solve the problem as soon as possible. THANK YOU.
