This is Manish Pareek this side, using my airtel number for the past 4 years now.
Some time is the last two months i had a problem of my phone being used for some GPRS service which i was not using. For the same i made calls to the customer care excutive on 121 hoping to solve this issue. It took time but it got solved after a very long and tiresome period of two weeks. And i also confirmed that i have not been using an services or any internet was active on my phone.
But very recently i have started facing a very peculiar problem for almost over two weeks that it so happens, every now and then a certain amount (everytime its different) is getting deducted on its own and for the same i get an sms from Airtel stating that i have used up some friends chat service.
I have called up the customer care unit everytime and made a complaint and was assured that this will not be repeated again but all of that goes to wain when it keeps on repeating on its own. I have made complaints to the unit starting from 23rd of June, 2010 (Rs 6), then on the 29th of june, 2010 (Rs 10) and then again today that is the 9th of July, 2010 (Rs 30). After that i get a sms that my service is deactivated and then suddenly again i get a msg from some unknown number (5432162245797). These sort of messages keep disturbing me all day and even late in the night while im fast asleep.
I have been reimbursed these above mentioned amounts very kindly but this thing of deduction of amount from my prepaid account and the irritation that it causes every time it happens and i have to make a call to get my amount back when im not using any of the services.
I have been confirmed that there are no services active on my phone for any friends chat and yet im being charged, how can i take it. My latest complaint number is 173500.
