This is Jaya Kumar. Number 9900 608 608. Initially was in my name (Post paid) later i changed it to prepaid connection before going to Singapore on project work last year. used the mobile number this on May month of 2011. and lastly i was moved permanently to india after project is over.
Recharged the same number in Andhra with initially Rs10 (Dec) and upon succesfull recharge did it with 110rs as well. Used the number in Andhra from December 2nd till 7th and returned to the home circle of this number (karnataka), hence forth the number stopped working.
Upon calling several customer care executives, they say number not in use for more than 180 days, though i used a week back and still a balance of 60rs was pending in it, they say it had gone to recycled state.
even some customer care executives told you go and complant in main office (bannerghatta office). with help of airtel outlet guy took the airtel nodal officer names and got the number to call up. upon several attempts some say they will do the activation especailly (Mr. Vinay kumar, Anand). Mr.vinay immeidately changed his tone and said he never promised like that upon getting to know that this is a bit premium number with which he can make some money(may be).
Dont understand why these nodal officers of airtel also tell lies and make fradulent practices. i took new number post paid 988 050 88 44, upon another nodal officer (Ms.meenakshi) thinking in a day or two they will make it operational on a condition that i may have to forfeit my balance, i accepted it too.
Later nothing hapend and had to live with what i got it.
Please dont commit false statements to customers, some say they cannot get the call details when its being used in december, that why it gone to recycled state, dont know how much truth lies in it.
