    Default AIRTEL prepaid mobile connection complaint

    Sir,
    I have an AIRTEL prepaid mobile connection. Last year few months it was not used.
    When I tried to use all the balance was deducted by Airtel and SIM deactivated.
    Recently I have activated, recharged and started using it regularly. When the balance was about Rs. 25/- it reduced to Rs 1.40/- in a day. After getting the above message, the third day sim was recharged with Rs 100/-. On the day I recharged I requested for deactivation the Value Added Service. The lady promptly told it will be deactivated in 24 hours. After 24 hrs I found my phone SIM was totally deactivated. but an amount of Rs 13/- was debited but still it was not activated. When I tried Customer care they told the no. is recycled and advised me to contact the nearest Relations centre. They told it is recycled and now nothing can be done. for the Currency balance existed in my account, they told it will not be refunded.
    In between I tried to contact them by mail also. As per the mail they told because of no use of phone for past 90 days they have deactivaed the no. and recyled it.
    I could not undedrstand when I was using it regularly after activation, and recharging it, without any kind of intimation to me abruptly they stoped the service and the no. and my money is also lost. I feel it is totally unethical business.
    I have been a customer for Airtel since 2002, but with my past 1 year experience I found they are cheating on Postpaid as well as Prepaid.
    How I can get my number back with my recharged currency. OR How to get my money I have paid. What I should do please advice.

    Thumbs down BAD Airtel Customer service

    I thought Idea Cellular customer service people did not have enough knowledge about their product and could never answer any query satisfactorily.
    And I thought Airtel was much better than the rest.
    Well..guess what! I was wrong. And i have no qualms in admitting it.

    Airtel has the worst service ever.
    I got myself a new Pre-Paid connection (9860646001) to get my BB activated.
    After activation of the card they said BB would be activated in about 24 hours.
    I took about 3 days actually to get things started.

    And the moment I started using Airtel, automatic deduction of Rs.60 took place. And for what - the filthy service of FriendzChat and some Astrology shite.
    I contacted their customer service and they said they would look into it. But for a good 5 days there was no response.
    And umpteen calls later when i finally got through a customer executive, i was bound to lose my temper (for having answered the same lame questions over and over again).
    The outburst of anger came as i used a single profane word (and I'm not apologizing for it - EVER!)
    The agent has the audacity to say- "Sabhyata se baat keejiye"
    Well - Mr."Sabhyata" if only you guys worked with "sabhyata" users wouldn't have to lose it on you.

    Secondly - having spoken to their manager - a certain Mr. Mukesh who assured that the deductions would be refunded that very day - it was no surprise that for the next 4 days there was no such transaction made.

    And to top it all - they even blocked my number from being connected to the customer care service numbers (121 and 198).

    This is surely a silver lining for Airtel.
    If you can't handle a customer and complaints against their company - the best is to block the customer.
    I say, it's a wonderful scheme to keep customer at bay. But do they realize that Consumer Forums do take up our case and fight for us.
    Let them also remember that the common man is backed by the media.

    If I wish to indulge in charity- it is my choice where and how I give my money. I will never appreciate a brand like Airtel STEALING my money from my account.

    now i do not want to use my number. my airtel digital TV ID and sim number ID is same.

    Default disconnected service

    I bought an airtel connection on June 1st and now it is disconnected because they say my documents are not in order. I had submitted all detailed address proof and photo ID. Please look into this ASAP.

    Default shoddy airtel prepiad services..

    Dear Sirs

    I have an airtel prepaid connection which is for my parents who were based at Kanpur. Mobile number is 08853770595.
    Since demise of my father, my mother has shifted and is living with me here in Noida.
    I would like to inform one and all that I have tried recharging this prepaid phone number twice without success.

    First instance I recharged at Noida with 101 Rs MRP on 30 July 2011. Transaction id was 433043573. I did not get any talk time.
    On second instance I recharged again on 8th August in Delhi with 198 Rs MRP. Transaction id was 460043669. Even for this recharge I did not get any credit of talk time.

    I spoke to airtel on 5th August around 9 AM, regarding the recharge transaction of 30 th july. I spoke to customer ser. Rep. called Imran, who could not resolve my query and could not load the amount into my mobile. He was alos fairly rude to consider my request and wanted to get rid of me instead of listening and solving my service request. I then requested to speak to his senior, Mr Lakhsman, who also could not help me and I must say that both of them showed simply showed no empathy towards a customer who simply lost money the mix of so many prepaid plans /options of airtel. They both put blame on me for simply not choosing the right plan for recharge. My service request number for call made on 5th August is CBNRA 20805718993 .

    As you can see above I have spent 300 Rs in trying to load talk time on my subject prepaid number but my money has been wasted since it did not result in any increase in the talk time value for the mobile services.

    I would request someone to note and take corrective steps so that I do not lose 300 Rs in the web of your vendors and Airtel ever confusing prepaid plans.

    For me it is clear when I recharge a specific number for talk time , talk time should load irrespective of place from where I load the talk time.

    If this is not the case, it means I should load talk time for this number only at Kanpur for which I need to request some one at Kanpur or travel my self to do it. How impractical in today’s times.

    In case my 300 Rs can not be loaded back on my subject prepaid phone number, I would formally request through this mail to take this email as written request to switch this connection with mobile number portability to a more understanding mobile service provider. Please guide me how to proceed further for this switch then.

    all my documents to the dealer 3v communication sector 35 chandigarh. ihave facing the problem that my no is deactivated

    Default Given false information by customer care

    I have activated a sms pack of Rs.67 that contains 100 msgs free daily for a month. From two days even I havn't completed 100 msgs still they are deducting my balance. For example I have sent 25 msgs today but they are telling me that i have sent 104 msgs and have deducted 4 Rs. from my balance and when asked for details they havn't responded for it. Kindly solve my query as soon as possible.

    @: I would agree that Airtel Customer care blocks your number from 121/198 if you ask them to justify their wrong doings. I have faced similare problem , I cant understand why when I am paying to talk to the customer executives.

    Angry Money Complain

    My money of Rs41.76(Before Recharge) was lost while using net after Recharging of Rs18 net pack. I did not open any site but getjar.com only once. Plz see to it. My no. is 9062015195. Nw my Balance is -0.02. Plzz Sir Do something or i wil hav to change the sim card................

    Exclamation sim registration failed within 24 hrs.

    I ,sanjeev kumar from jaipur,my mobile no.8769831487,which is
    activated on 09th nov.i recharged 98 rs internet pack in evening of
    10th nov.but,in evening my sim no registration is failed.customer care
    are not intertaining it in manner way.they are telling different thing
    by the different customer care.i am in loss of 98 +30 rs.i am so
    unhappy with airtel sevice.pls help me…I am going to portability of my
    phone no.and I will never suggest to anyone for airtel service.
    I am student so,I can know the value of 128 rs. Loss.
    Pls. help me…

    Thumbs down My Phone temporarily disconnected from last 3 days

    My Phone (9928795485) temporarily out of service from last 3 days without any prior notice. I have this mobile number from lat six years. They said that they diverted there call to there customer care executive. But when i call anybody call wasn't diverted. Then i call to 123. then my phone diverted. There customer care executive promise me that your phone will be started in 4-5 hours. I convinced. But after 12 hours it is still not started. and when i again call the customer care executive he literally behave very bad and cut my phone.
    Now still my phone is not working. Please anybody suggest how i will complain to higher authorities of Airtel.
