This is regarding the issue i am facing for last 09 months and still pending even after closing the account..I had applied for Toll free number - 18001020090 in name of 'Aryan Global Networks' on the basis of Landline number - 01143754357 (applied for Landline to take Toll free number only which i never used), as i was doing some project for which i needed a Toll free number. This project i started in January 2011 and continued till February 2011, for 2 months only as i was not getting sufficient response and due to lack of funding i planned to start later and closed this connection for both Toll free and Landline number. Account number is 16242132.

I had contacted Airtel customer care to close all lines, but they suggested to
put these lines on Safe Custody for 2 months by paying a total Rs 1000 for 2
months( monthly Rs 250 for Toll free and Rs 250 for Landline). I said ok
thinking that i could get some response for my project in these 02 months, if
not i would close these 2 connections of Toll free and Landline number
permanently.
I had paid Rs 500 for putting these 2 lines on safe custody for 01 months and
asked them to pay balance Rs 500/- next month after getting confirmation on
this by clearing all my outstanding of Rs. 8354/- on 28th April'11 after
discussing it with customer care executive with Request Number - 45750186. Then
i received another mail from airtel saying there was an outstanding amount of
Rs 3580/ - in next May month. This was the stage from where all this issue
started.
Moreover even after that i contacted customer care executive and was told by
her "all this happened because payment was not updated in your system due to
some technical problem"
I had also contacted Okhla office personally after so many mails and
communications and requested them to close all this issue on 05th September
2011, even after that they said these connections are still not closed and will
took 02 months to take this further and after 02 months they said its closed
now and you have to pay Rs 17000 as a final amount till September month only.
Then i also complain in Airtel at higher authority and finally got a call from
Mr. Rajesh (Kirti nagar branch, delhi) and was told to pay Rs 3500/- as a final
settlement amount both for Toll free and Landline number rent, he had sent his
guy on 17th September 2011 to collect money which i had paid in cash and taken
receipt, Receipt number is - 6712184, He told to send me a NOC for this issue
on mail which i have not received till today.
Now he is not picking up phone even at landline number- 01145701733 and nobody
is responding on that number.
I have discuss this issue with so many people including customer care executives
but i am not getting any solution for this, i am explaining the same issue to
new customer care executives and Airtel representative every month but with no response. On Saturday 17th December 2011, i got call from Mr. Ashwani and Ms Meenu Yadav and have explained them whole issue but didn't get any positive response.
All the communication between me and Airtel in last 09 months i have sent to thousand times to hundreds of people but with no response from anyone, still i am getting bill from Airtel which is Rs 30,000 for last month.
Now i have contacted consumer forum in a hope to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
