I wanted to port out from Airtel to BSNL this process started from 31st December.
Since then BSNL sent porting out request 7 times ; first 3 times we were told to clear the outstanding amount which was communicated to Singhgad Road Airtel office and they told that everything is cleared for porting out the number 9730770006.
Later due to Airtel server problems porting request cancel for 4 times.
The bill payment was done on 31st Dec. 2011, 7th Jan 2012, 21st Jan 2012. Even-though it was told to Airtel Singhgad road office that bill payment is being done for porting out the number. Still they did not tell the total amount to be paid at once; and we needed to visit office 3 times. The reason they told behind this was the Airtel server was down. Even-though we tried to make sure that our outstanding is clear but due to bad Airtel server and customer service our porting out request was cancelled. The last porting out request was sent from BSNL to Airtel on 21st jan 2012 and it was showing status in-process till 27th jan 2012. Surprisingly porting out request should not be cancelled after 7 days.
Now when we called to Airtel customer service to know reason of cancellation for porting out request; we are being told to clear the an amount of Rs. 294.00. We don't want to pay this amount because porting request processing delay has been caused by Airtel. And we don't feel liability for this payment.
