Recently, I received a message from you that if I recharge with Rs. 52, I will get 500 SMS/Day. I recharged my mobile on June 1, 2010. After receiving confirmation message, I sent an SMS and to my surprise I was charged for that SMS. I called customer care and I was shocked to learn that for a customer who is opting for this service for the second time, it would take 48 hours to enable this option.

1. Nowhere in the message I received it says that only first timers would get the service instantly activated and there is a wait period of 48 hours for second timers.
2. The message states that the offer is valid for 30 days period. Is the 30-day period calculated from the day the recharge was done or from the day the service is activated? if it is from the day the service is activated, then this means that the offer is actually for only 28 days and not 30 days.
3. Why is Airtel indulging in such unscrupulous ways of extracting money from its customers?
