This is to raise a complaint regarding SMSes being charged to my account in spite of recharging for free sms pack. I called Airtel customer service on two occasions just now (around 11PM), however the first time the agent hung up on me. And the second time I was lucky to speak to someone, but as the customer service agent was not able to help me and wanted to transfer the call to her supervisor, the call eventually got disconnected. Firstly, it is hard to believe why the agent was not able to help me with such a simple concern. There was no need to transfer the call to the supervisor; shedidn’t even bother to explain the reason for the transfer. Furthermore, the call was on hold for more than a minute whilst the call was transferred to the supervisor; since the call was on hold for so long the call got disconnected (or perhaps they again hung up on me).
As you can see, Airtel customer service truly sucks.
Some of my smses are being charged, not all. Therefore I want Airtel to immediately fix this issue and ensure that the amount that I unnecessarily lost is reimbursed. Else, i will sue them.
