    Default Complaint of Airtel prepaid

    I have a prepaid card of airtel . The point of having prepaid card was so that balance can be checked. But Airtel company is forcefully activating their paid services of sports update on my number. I am checking my balance regularly so i came to know about this. Airtel company's customer care people refunded the amount deducted by them, when i put forward the complaint. This happened many times. Now they have start deducting money from the prepaid balance again on 16th July 2010.

    When i put forward the complaint on customer care an customer care agent named sachin instead of solving the complaint argued with me and adviced to go to a customer care center. what is the use of prepaid card if the companies like airtel deduct the balance by forcefully activating their paid services on sim card. If we customer do not ask for the services by vocal conversation with the customer care people of airtel then they should not activate the services on sim cards.

    I even tried customer care and they gave me the email address nodalofficer.mum@airtel.in. the email sent to the above mentioned email address are not delivered because the above mentioned email is not listed in Domino Directory.

    Default Complaint regarding non operation of my postpaid mobile number

    Hi,

    I have taken my airtel postpaid mobile no: 9560916444. This is a corporate connection and my plan is of Rs 199 rental. The airtel representatives came to our office and took the required documents and photos and said connection will start in a few days. The connection started after 2 days and after that it stopped working. Now after repeated request for the past week or more, I am fed up of your service as there is no response from ur side and my connection is in a disabled state. More so, airtel have send me the bill also for the month of july for which I have not used it.

    I have taken the connection somewhere in the middle of july.

    Kindly look into the issue or tell me the contact of the required authority. Those airtel guys are too arrogant and shold be taken action against.

    Default Worst customer care treatment ever .

    Hi

    The purpose of having a prepaid service is to keep track of our limit .. But Airtel guys keep activating all the paid services automatically even without informing the customers ... Also , the plan gets changed and call cost and sms costs gets diffreed quite often without prior notice .

    When calling the customer care department , comes the worst part ever.. the treatment for a begger or thieft or any dam unknown person in US would be much better than us - so called priviledged customer of Airtel services.

    my God the ridiculous talks , long calls with every representative without any proper Solutions for any issues that we take them up to ..

    the beauty is , I have called the cust care dept for complaining and deactivating my voice mail service which was repeatedly and automatically actiavted by Airtel even after thousand times of deactivation request ..

    The most wonderfula dn horrible part is when called the cust care and asked y they reactivated even after so many times of complaints and request , they say , they dont have the previous call history records for this particualr issues. They stand strongly saying no records for requesting this Deactiavtion process which i had done a minimun of 8 to 10 times ..

    rest all other unwanted calls they say are available on their record .. when asked to transfer the call to any senior executive , they say to wait on call and happily cut the call ,or tyransfer an unending musical tone call which nevers gets connected back to the concerned dept person ..

    Thumbs down Airtel prepaid disconnected without any prior notice

    hi all,
    i have been using my airtel number (9866082324) since last five years. last week i got a message from airtel
    due to some security reasons they want me submit the proof of identification so, i got an application from nearest proof collection point and filled the application and submited it. after 3 to 4 days i found that my airtel number is not working. then i contacted airtel cutomer care as always it is a lenghty process, they simple gave a cool answer that my number was disconnected since i was not using it for 180days. but upto 2nd november 2010 i was receiving the calls and messages to this number. at last i came down and asked them to give me the same number but they are saying its not possible. what should i do now.

    Default My Contact Details

    My issue with Airtel Services is never resolved ..
    My Contact Details are as follows . 98402 65764. I started with a student plan long back from college . But Airtel just happily changes to whaatevere tariffs , new additions and etc etc stuffs which i never asked for and i am now not sure what exactly is my plan.

    Let me wait and c if my problems are getting resolved , atleast looked into for my satisfaction.

    The customer care people actually said , they would get back to me in 4 hours but its been more than 7 days , i never got a call back WHICH I ACTUALLY EXPECTED COZ ITS AIRTEL.

    Angry SIM Services stopped without prior intimation.

    Hi,

    I am Airtel Prepaid customer since more than 3 years. My No. is 9890180088.

    On Friday my Outgoing services stopped suddenly, Incoming was going on.

    On Sunday, My all services got stopped and the SIM is showing "Inactive SIM".

    This all happened without any prior intimation. My no. is very important for me. It is given everywhere.

    I had been one of Airtel Relationship Center in Pune, they said, your no. has been deleted from system.

    How this can be happen without any prior intimation. I want my SIM to activated back.

    I am ready to resubmit any documents.

    Default complaint regarding the balance removal

    dear sir,
    i regret to state that i am a dealer of your company who do recharges of the common customer.yesterday i had a very bad experience.
    i recieved a call by the name of gem of airtel company & he said to me to perform the commands according to him.i did the same. he told my balance very correctly to ensure that he is a member from the company only.he get his two fake recharges done with my no.the no from which i recieved the call was+918873408660.after few minutes i came to know that it was a fraud call.
    so i request that please put my balance back in my phone no +919896041043 & do the enquiry of the uplisted number.
    the numbers on which recharge was done were +917739212454(Rs777/-) & +919631641348(Rs 1290/-).
    i will be very pleased if you respond to this complaint very quickly.

    Default Internet usage charges

    AIRTEL NO. 9896988881 (HARYANA)
    I USED INTERNET LAST NIGHT FOR A TOTAL OF 11 MINUTES AND THE TOTAL DATA USAGE WAS OF 131 KB (USED THROUGH AIRTEL LIVE). ACCORDINGLY, I SHOULD HAVE BEEN CHARGED AROUND RS. 2-3 (AS PER THE RATE OF 30p/20kb) BUT I WAS CHARGED RS. 48/- FOR THE SAME. I SWITCHED OFF THE INTERNET AFTER THAT BUT BALANCE WAS CONSTANTLY GETTING DEDUCTED FROM MY ACCOUNT. I CALLED CUSTOMER CARE PERSON AT THE SAME TIME AND DURING THAT TIME AS WELL, MY BALANCE WAS GETTING DEDUCTED. NOW I AGAIN CALLED CUSTOMER CARE PERSON AND THEY SAID I HAVE USED FACEBOOK FOR SOME TIME LAST NIGHT AND THE CHARGE WAS DONE FOR IT. BUT CHARGING RS. 48/- MEANS I HAVE ACCESSED AROUND 3200 KB OF DATA.
    YOUR CUSTOMER CARE PEOPLE ARE FOOLS AND DO NOT KNOW ANYTHING. ALL THEY KNOW IS HOW TO IRRITATE CUSTOMERS BY THEIR FOOLISH LANGUAGE AND TRANSFERRING CALLS TO OTHER PERSONS (EVEN THEY KNOW NOTHING AND GIVE THE SAME LAME REASONS). I HAVE BEEN A USER OF AIRTEL FOR PAST 4-5 YEARS AND NOW I AM CONSIDERING SHIFTING TO OTHER OPERATORS JUST BECAUSE OF THIS POOR SERVICE.

    Dear sir/ madam ,
    i have using ur airtel service with +919725139292 i have received one MESSAGE from AD-54321.this msg are "you have been renewed for GamesClub subscription service from airtel.you have been charged Rs.5/- Join GamesClub at http://gclub.in"
    then i had called to customer care but not respose me. but i never actived this pack/service that's why u cut it Rs.5/- but sir/madam i know very well i did not press any key of my mobile while. how can possible. Sir/madam i have to request u plz give me return my RS.5/- i hope u respect my request and return that money as soon as possible.otherwise i have to complian to the next level.

    Angry Airtel Network Issues/ Messages not being delivered

    Hi All,

    I am using airtel prepaid connection 7702964388 in Hyderabad, mainly concentrated in and around Madhapur. The signal strength is peculiarly low inside most of the buildings in the Raheja IT park. Plus me and couple of my friends are not able to send messages to Idea numbers. The messages are not sent, it always gives an error but the messages are received fine from idea numbers.

    Please look into this matter, its very frustrating especially messages not being delivered to select numbers. And my bad luck those certain Idea numbers are the ones to which I try to message the most.

    Default Data Card Connection Termination

    Dear Sir,
    I have post paid connection no.9970343110 on this ,I have activated 3G ,Rs450/- plan for availing GPRS facility but i could not able to do so previous month i.e 01 October to 24 october 2011 though contacted your customer care but it was not fruitful .on the 29 october 2011 i approached your airtel outlet near pune satara highway for ARC assistence, the person working could not able to rectify the fault stating the technical back up team member is on leave then i lodged a complain vide number-40322490 dated 29 october 2011.he was stating you come on monday. in this regard i want to submit to two querry for your kind consideration and favourable action :-

    (i) As global company it is always expected that any kind of support required to a customer provided 24.7

    (ii)At your outlet it is expected that any grivenseus from customer side is to be redressed if not by the person working there then one notice may be displayed containing information whom to contact,so that customer can get his/her grivence redressed at the same time.

    Angry fradulent airtel

    i m from delhi having a local airtel no. which is on roaming from a week as i m in MP. today i went to dealer in MP n got my cell recharged with a top up of Rs 200/- after which i received a message of Rs 1 credit!!!!!! thereafter there was no message. i asked the dealer about my money to be credited, he suggested to contact at the customer service no. i called up at 121 (the apparent customer service no of airtel). it was MP customer care centre. the agent said that Rs 199/ will be transferred in few minutes n disconnected the line. i called up again , the other agent asked me to contact delhi customer care centre. i made an STD call at 9810198101 where the agent revealed that the recharge of Rs 200/ is only for 3G which was now availed to me!!! i was surprised as i do not have a 3G mobile!!!! i asked him how could they provide me a facility which cannot be activated. they started giving foolish resolutions like buy a 3G mobile(that i cannot afford), use any other handset!!!!!! i was so pissed off!!!!!! i told him that neither can i afford nor do i need 3G services. i m on roaming for business purpose n need money in my cell but they kept repeating the same thing.he said that Rs 200/ is for 3G only.n i should have asked the dealer. i made it clear that the dealer said that there is a full recharge in Rs 200/ top up coupen.
    i then requested him to please register a complaint against the dealer and the agent who misguided me saying that ill get my no credited soon. he denied!!!!! then i forced him saying that i'll go to consumer court after which he registered my complaint of no. CWNGC31030339619. there has been many times that the airtel services do not respond to the customer queries. they are cheating the customers. i would appreciate if someone would take a strong action against them a save us from their fraudulant activities

    it was the TRAI regulation that made all the service providers to enable only 200 sms per day. Now I contacted the AIRTEL customer care and they say that the first 100 are free and the next 100 are chargeable. Now what kind of law is this?

    Default Customer Database Leaked & is being misused in Fraud activities

    Dear All,

    Good Day!!!

    I am a Airtel Etopup dealer, My Airtel Demo No. is 8128107670 and have observed that the database of Airtel is being leaked by their own employs which has a result of many fraud activities. I am the victim of similar fraud which has been committed from Mob No. +918292150065. A person named Mr. Sharma called from the above listed number & said he is representing from Airtel & confirmed all my details about the sim. Then he said that my distributor is cutting the december scheme of my number & not giving me benefit of the scheme. He asked my alternate number & asked me to follow his instructions in order to achieve the scheme. The result of which is that he transferred Rs. 1111 balance to 9937629474 via TxID 1048772885 on 01/02/2012 at 13:52.

    After understanding that the above is a fraud activity I immediately contacted to Airtel Customer care for reverting the balance as it is a part of fraud activity. The Airtel customer care instead of supporting me strictly said that this is not their problem and they will not help to revert the balance from the listed number.

    The company knows that this kind of fraud is going on in their network and the people are using the name & database of the company which has a list of all the dealers of Airtel who have demo recharging cards.

    This issue is a very serious issue and Airtel & local authorities are also involved in commitment of this kind of crime.

    Kindly assist me to get my money back.
