Sir/Madam,

I have a an Airtel mobile connection and its number is 9591126729, State - Karnataka.
Its been nearly 2 years using this number. But from past one week this Airtel is deducting my prepaid account balance without my notice. Some instances are given below:

1. For the first time on Dec 12,2011, I got a message from Airtel at 4:22 pm,which stated,
"Thanks for downloading Java game from Airtel you have been charged Rs 99"
Seeing this I first checked my balance. yes they had cut Rs 99 from my balance.
Instantly I called up the customer care and told them I have not downloaded any
games and enquired thoroughly. Then they agreed that was their mistake and returned
my Rs 99. Again I checked my balance and I had got my balance back.

2.Then after the above incident again on Dec 19, 2011 I came to know that my balance
had become very less compared to the Dec 18, 2011 even though I had made only
2 calls. So I kept noting down the balance each time I called anyone. But for
confirmation I called up customer care and enquired why my balance was being
deducted more than the call rates. They told me some Game service has
been activated and hence I was being charged Rs 5 each day from the day of activation.
THE THING WAS I HAD NOT SUBSCRIBED FOR ANY SUCH THINGS. When I asked
the same with them they told I had started that service by clicking on some internet
link. I thought that might have happened and requested them to stop that immediately.
I DID NOT GET MY DEDUCTED BALANCE BACK THIS TIME.

3. Same thing repeated on Dec 21, 2011 that's today. When I called customer care and
enquired, they gave the same reason, that they gave earlier. I requested them to stop
that service again and asked them to notify me when such deductions happen. BUT
THEY IGNORED MY REQUEST. INSTEAD THEY TOLD WE KNOW ONLY STOP
THE SERVICE.

MY QUESTION HERE IS: WHEN THEY KNOW THAT A SERVICE HAS BEEN
ACTIVATED, ITS THEIR DUTY TO NOTIFY THE CUSTOMER ABOUT THAT
.
EVEN THOUGH I REQUESTED THEM THEY DID NOT CONSIDER MY REQUEST TO
NOTIFY ME ABOUT ANY SUCH ACTIVATIONS.

I KINDLY REQUEST YOU TO TAKE FURTHER ACTIONS AGAINST AIRTEL PREPAID SERVICE IN THIS REGARD AND STOP THEM FROM SNATCHING MONEY SIMPLY WITHOUT ANY REASON.

I HAVE NO IDEA HOW THAT GAME THINGS GOT ACTIVATED TILL NOW, I DO NOT VISIT ANY SUCH SITES. PLEASE HELP ME IN THIS REGARD.
TILL NOW I HAVE LOST AROUND Rs 50 FOR NO REASON.

Thanks for your concern and help. I really was frustrated by deduction of my balance without my knowledge. Thanks for solving the issue. Hopefully the next time I don't think I will be made to contact you for the same reason or any other problems. I really like Airtel. Thanks again
