Why the hell are my outgoing services barred?
I have been an Idea customer for the past 5 Yrs using their mobile as well as 3G services. My due date for payment is 4th of every month and I have a credit limit of 6500 and my bill states that I am a select privileged member (to hell with this, I really don't know whats the advantage of being one)
My bill for the invoice on 4th Jan 2012 was Rs. 1484.56/- and the bill for 4th Feb 2012 was Rs 1703.40/-, this makes it a total of Rs. 3187.96/- which is less than my credit limit Rs. 6500/- still my outgoing services were deactivated, does Idea has so incompetent people and systems which don't even understand how to calculate the total, bloody jokers.
I made the payment on 4th of Feb 2012 through www.ideacellular.com amounting to Rs. 1484.56/- (4th Jan invoice payment) I got a confirmation message indicating that the payment was successful, as a Select privileged member (still I don't understand what this crap means), I should atleast be a able to call the customer care from my mobile number, bloody these guys don't allow me to even reach the customer care, I used a friends mobile to call the customer care, adding to my frustration, the customer care representative indicated that payment does not reflect in our system (there goes incompetent systems) and once it reflects, it will take 24 hrs to reactivate the outgoing services, I told him that my credit limit is Rs. 6500/- why is my outgoing barred in the first place, he does not have any answer to this (incompetent and lame hires) I told him that I need to make urgent calls, that's your systems problem if it does not reflect the payment but it might reflect in some time, I requested him to enable my outgoing services and being a loyal customer for more than 5Yrs and Select Privileged Member (still dont know what this shit means) atleast he should have enabled it on the request, but the incompetent representative didn't budge. I needed the activation ASAP, so I e-mailed the customer care with the snapshot of the payment made on the email id 9822012345@idea.adityabirla.com, I just got an acknowledgement of email reception and since then 24hrs have already passed but my outgoing service is still not activated and I can't reach the stupid customer care from my mobile.
This is a complete service delivery failure from Idea, no respect for loyal customers, totally irrelevant in barring my outgoing service even if my credit limit is Rs 6400/-, sent an email but still no response, 24 hrs passed since the online payment was made and yet my services not activated. Its better to change the mobile service provider, hopefully they will understand the value of a loyal customer better than Idea does.
