I Rahul Sable, have been using idea prepaid no 9822864980 since 2003 for last 8 years. Suddenly Idea had deactivated my services without any notice. When contacted customer care of idea & visited customer service office they informed that mobile number has been deactivated as verification documents are not submitted. As per the request of customer care I have submitted the required document for verification of my phone number 9822864980 on 10th Nov 2011 at Idea office,chaitnyanagar,Dhankwadi ,Pune and I got response from them that phone number will be activated within 48 hrs. But after 1 week also number was not activated. I followed up again with customer service several time & everytime got response that documents are under process & number will be activated very soon. So I enquired about the issue in Idea office, Dhankawadi and the concern person told me that your documents are already submitted on 12th Nov 2011 at head office.
Then I enquired in Idea Head Office, Pune & to my surprise I got responce that, "we regret to inform you that mentioned number has been permanently disconnected due to non compliance of documents and is unavailable for reconnection." Even my balance available in my mobile account ( around 300 Rs.) is not credited to me.
This is real harrassment by Idea Cellular & I want to takeup this with higher authorities.

This is to bring to your notice that Idea cellular isn't really a worth company to deal with.
The customer care call center is outsourced, the call center agents work for meager money and hence, donot even care to resolve customer's issues.
This is what I came to know recently. Inspite of getting an add-on activated by one of the agents on call with me july, i kept getting elevated bills for months untill i checked to find out that the add on has not been activated.
i called back the customer service, the retention and then even the nodal office. I spoke to someone called Rahul Nimbadar who promised to pull out the call and give me rebate. however, I haven't received any call backs. The number he provided me to call back is fake and no one really picks that.
Besides, they have generated another bill without solving my earlier query and it is still elevated. I have finally decided to let go Idea and move to vodaphone.
Thanks to portability option, would love to keep this number.
I would strongly recommend, everyone NOT TO TAKE POST PAID CONNECTION from Idea. They really don't deserve to be in the market due to their poor customer service and retention policies.
If anyone from the senior management is listening, you guys really need to fire your entire middle management staff and work on your customer service polices .

My number 8264203421(MNP from videocon) was barred without any prior notice.When i contacted customer care they told me that my documents were not received.When they connected me to supervisor he mentioned that they have a document(My passport xerox) and will be verified and activated with in a day. After 2 days i called the customer care again to ask why was my number still not activated. This time they said they don't have any documents and i have to submit them again. So please check if there was any problem with my document and why it got rejected. Thank you

I went to My Idea store again.Submitted passport xerox,pan card xerox, color photograph and an address proof given by company (Xerox of this proof was enough to apply for NSC and i submitted original) on 18th January for the fourth time. My number was activated with in 15 minutes. Next day i got a message asking me to submit the documents again. I called customer care asking about this and they said they have my documents and i need not submit again and to ignore the message. I got that message couple of more times and i ignored them. Suddenly on 23rd January my number was barred again. I called the customer care and they said the same thing that they didn't receive the documents and " Submit the documents in MY IDEA". I request you to look into this matter. I am even getting doubt that all of this is just to let my card be inactive for 3months in which the offer which compelled me to switch to IDEA will expire. "What an IDEA SIRJEE" .
Services to my mobile no. 9702278737 has been abruptly stopped wef 17 Feb 12, without informing me or not even sending an sms. I had submitted all documents related to my address proof one month before. Pse inquire what is the problem..
I am using Idea Netsetter (Number 9594217994) and extremely disappointed with my experience with the product, and also the response from customer service department of "Idea"
I have recently purchased idea netsetter and recharged it for Rs 950 (unlimited usage for 30 days)
Despite of spending 2000 Rs, i am unable to use it and the product is absolutely of no use for me and it appears to be a wastage of money as the internet is getting disconnected after every one minute.
I have called up the customer service 6 times and had gone through all the procedures explained by them (Recharing the main account, uninstall & reinstall the driver.....etc) but for the same result (internet getting connected, but disconnecting after 1 minute). Let me also mention that the customer service was pathetic and the agent even disconnected the call.
It is quite evident that the issue is from the service provider's side (Idea cellular) .I am greatly disappointed and finding myself being fooled off with a non working product / service by one of the prominent business group in india.

Till now I was a loyal idea customer, using your company postpaid connection for past 5 years. But today my connection " 9855512385" and my father's number ( which is an add on number with my connection) " 9914505009" was suddenly deactivated by your company without any prior notice. When I tried to contact your customer care I was told that my phone bill has been exceeded 25000 Rs, although my credit limit was only 12000 Rs, and they denied giving me the bill details.
Here I would like to bring your attention to following points:
1.) My Bill cycle ends at 15 Feb, so the bill which they are talking about is from 15 Feb to 23 Feb 2012 ( 8 Days) .
2.) I am using your 599 postpaid plan which provides 1500 Local + STD min free and call rates of 0.50 Paise both in net and in roaming.
3.) During this duration I was on national roaming for 2 days and even if I talked on phone for all 48 hrs my bill can't exceed 1440 Rs.
To me this looks like some mistake done by your billing software, you are requested to please look into the matter on immediate basis and resolve the issue as this is causing a lot of monetry loss and mental harassment to me.
An early response will be appreciated and avert any legal complain from my side.

Idea is world no. 1 cheater company. Today i recharge my a/c for Rs.80=00 but instead of Rs. 80=00 recharge, one message came on my mobile that (your Rs.80=00 internet pack is activated) and did not reflect Rs. 80=00 in my A/c. Fact is that Idea is not having any voucher Rs.80=00 for internet and my a/c is also having RS. 98 GPRS pack.When i call customer care they tell me that our system is not showing any recharge so call after 4 hours and decline to give me any complaint number in this regard, after 4 hours i again call Idea customer care this time answer was also same. This mean you do this practice to lot of people and if someone not call you again and again you take his hard earned money that is 100% offense of 420 and IDEA people cheating people with very cheap way, what is the meaning of complaint cell when you are not able to give any complaint number. That means IDEA having intention to cheat people to very cheap way.If the problem will not solved in next 24 hours i will definitly go to consumer forum against you for mental harrasment and cheating.
