I bought an idea sim recently. However i have been doing a lot of running around for proper activation.
1. My number was activated after 2 days even after promising to activate within half an hour. I went 5 times to the retailer to get ny card activated.
2. I took an SMS plan where i was provided 100 free SMSes per day on payment of Rs. 55. But all my SMSes were being charged at the normal rate. The customer care people evaded my queries and only after 14 calls to the customer care and after registering a complaint my SMS service was activated.
3. Worst of all, now they have barred my service- both incoming and outgoing. Even after proper submission of documents and verification by the retailer my service has been stopped. They did not even care to inform me before cutting my service.
This just shows the plight of the Indian consumer and the autocracy that these cellular companies are ruling. Idea has the worst service and customer satisfaction of all the cellular companies in the market.
