    This has reference to your e-mail regarding balance deduction for your Idea mobile number 8108585677.

    We would like to inform you that Rs.32.95 has been deducted due to GPRS usage. Hence we shall be constrained to reverse the deducted balance as the same has been charged correctly.

    This mail is in refferance to the call made to your no 198 (dedicated
    towards customer complaints) on 17/07/2010 at 09:56pm to 10:05 pm .Call
    was handled my Officer Mr Shailesh.
    Issue pertaining was towards sudden balance deduction without any
    notification .Balance accordin to evening 17/07/2010 at 6:00 pm was
    approximately INR 41.03 the bal was brought down to pproximately INR
    2.56 .According to your officer Mr Shailesh i have subscribed to
    services fr GPRS .When probed frm my side fr details no details were
    provided inspite of me infomin your officer that no such service was
    availed officer didnot show any interest in forwarding any complaint.
    When asked fr escaltion was infomed by Mr Shailesh "TO CALLBACK LATER
    AS SENIOR WAS BUSY IN OTHER ESCALTION ".I infomed can hold line untill
    senoir is busy on other escaltion your officer says "AGAR SENIOR EK
    GHANTE TAK BUSY HONGE TO AAP 1 GHATE HOLD KAROGE" wen infomed can hold
    line your officer told "MUJHE NAHI CHALEGA LINE HOLD KARNA"
    I certainly understand there would b some other customers alredy waitin
    on line but your officer didnt show any interest of helping me .Wen
    probed fr seniors name same was not disclosed after repeated attempts.
    Finally to gods grace something happened which is strictly NOT ACCEPTED
    AT ANY SERVICE RENDERING ORGANISATION "MY CALL WAS DISCONNECTED BY YOUR
    OFFICER" SAYING "AAPKO SAMJME NAHI AATA MAI KYA KAHE RAHA HU" and call
    was disconnected by your officer Mr Shailesh
    I was contionusly infoming ur officer that it is not personal against
    the officer but officer Mr Shailesh took every thing personally and
    call was completed properly.

    If the above complaint fr bal deduction is nt properly handled by IDEA
    CELLULAR this case would b forwarded to CONSUMER COURT AND TRAI and
    stict legal action will b takn.Balance which was deducted on card
    should b communicated and details should b givn fr usage done
    Here the issue is nt only fr balance of mobile recharge know it is
    amtter of pride and prestige

    This mail is only and intimation of legal action if case is nt resolved
    by dedicated NODEL OFFICERS .NODEL OFFICERS hav to ensure proper action
    has to b takn aginst the complaint and officer Mr Shailesh behaivour on
    call.The service advisor has to b councelled and strict action should b
    takn aginst officers disconnceting customer calls wen we expect a
    quality service fr a service industry . Officers disconncting calls
    should nt b entertained as they ewarn a black mark fr organistion .

    Ensurin NODEL OFFICERS will look in the above griverance faced by
    customewr and proper resolution will b provided so that no legal action
    should b takn fr futher course.

    Default Idea Cellular Instant recharge

    Hi,
    This is Mohan Kumar from Chennai, I hav been using Idea services form past 6 months.
    In idea cellular website there is an option called Instant recharge, which means we can recharge our mobile instantly. I had used the same services yesterday (14.09.2010) night at 9.30PM and recharged my mobile for 200 and 100.
    Till now (15.09.2010) 1.20PM the amount has not updated in my account.
    When I spoke with the customercare executive yesterday, they said It will take 12 hours to get update, but it has not got updated, so I called them today morning and now they are saying "We shall take the complaint and the same would be addressed in 24hrs of time", they kept me on hold for 20 minutes to pass this information which is a chargeble service.
    My question is when they mention that it is instant recharge in website, why should it take 12-24 hours of time?
    Why should I suffer for their problem and keeping my money with them?
    Why the customercare exucutives pass different comments for the single issue?

    Request you to kindly help me on the same

    Lightbulb Idea deductions without authorisation from customer

    For the benefit of Idea Customers who are receiving unwanted SMS informing of automatic deductions

    Please be advised that I have investigated and discovered that IDEA has sold their customer numbers to a company called "OnMobile Global Limited " and it is they who are sending us these unwanted messages.

    The Contact details of the Regional office of the company is as below :

It is only when a large number of consumers gets together and does something jointly that we will get any redressal from these cheating companies, who have NO business to deduct anything from a customer without first getting authorisation from that customer.

    Angry Sim barring

    I am owner of Idea SIM for phone number 9164947485. I had purchased this SIM in December 2009 in a promotional stall put up by IDEA in Udupi. I had given a copy of Driving Licence as address proof & a passport photo. In the last of September the SIM got barred for both incoming & outgoing calls. When enquired in customer support, I was told that the address proof & photo had to be resubmitted since it was not updated in the System. I then submitted another copy of address proof & photo at your IDEA office at Udupi. The SIM was unbarred on 08th October and working fine.

    Suddenly two days back the SIM is again barred for both incoming & outgoing are barred. When enquired at the local Idea office I was told that all the records in the system are updated & they are not aware of why the SIM is barred.

    I dont know what to do?

    I am wondering why I bought this IDEA SIM. What a BAD IDEA sirji

    Dear Mr Murhekar,

    As far as GPRS is concerned with Idea Cellular - you do not have to subscribed to it. It will be automatically charged for anything that you do on you phone. And yes - you can get details only if you are ready to pay for detailed bill facility - which i guess is ofcourse not available for pre-paid customers. So essentially - you have only 2 options - live with the devil or search for other options. I had recently ended my 6 years old association with the company only because of this.

    don;t worry too much, you can always correct errors.

    After all - should we not be ensuring that we rectify our error - indeed this is a BAD iDEA - so change it. I did - ended my 6 year old association with iDEA

    Default Unnecessary deduction

    This is regarding the unnecessary deduction of balance amount from 9881917532.
    There was balance of 106/- rupees on 08.11.10 And yesterday when I saw, the balance was zero.
    Where as I didn't made so many calls which will make my balance to zero.
    Please look into this matter and reply the details.

    Idea music masti has been activated in ma cell by fraud idea people..plz deactivate it...ma no is 9964677095..
    without sending any activation msg or calling they simply activated this services.when i called customer care they told me that i have sent a msg because of that we activated.but i din send any message...Plz take action on this...i have recorded the customer care executives voice also....they are disconnecting the calls without giving proper answer....plz take action on idea ...they are cheating innocent people...i want to deactivate this service and refund my money...they are deducted 30 rs...also.....plz help me out...

    M roopesh..Ma cell no is 9964677095...one month back fraud idea people deductd 30rs from ma account and dey activated music masti...
    without sending any activation msg or calling they simply activated these services.when i called customer care they told me that i have sent a msg because of that we activated. m using mobile daily since 4 years back we know which call is chargable and where to send msg. i am calling to customer care centre from the last 15 days but they are not ready to deactivate and not responding properly.
    i have recorded the customer executives voice also....they are playing with me...i have lots of other works to do....bt coz of this idea people mevryday m m using ma valuable time to call der customer care...bt dey are not giving proper answers...instead of that they are misguiding me.plz take legal action on them..this shoud not be continued..i want ma money back..and deactivate dis service...now mobile number portability is der...so i can change ma network provider..bt dey must stop this fraud activities...

    Default Frequent deduction of balance in idea

    Sir,
    Im using ths idea cellular service from 2 months, after portability of reliance to idea, in idea frequently balance is deducted without confirmation and no response from customer care how can i trust this service. This problem is not only mine my friends also having this only please solve this problem sir.
