Dear Sir,

My Airtel Prepaid Card - 99408893687 (TAMILNADU NUMBER) was deactivated without any notification. On visiting a Airtel Center, I was informed that the number was deactivated.

Now, there are a few points which I would like to discuss:
1) If my number is to be deactivated, why was I not informed by call or sms.
2) I am using this number for the past 2 years. I make & receive at least 6-7 calls daily from this number, so was it not possible to check your records before deciding that this number is not in use and should be deactivated?

I went to the Airtel Center, they direct me to buy a duplicate sim card for Rs 125 saying that my number would be activated within 2 days. Even after 2 days it was not activated, when I enquired, they inform me that my number is deactivated and there is no way to get it activated.

I even tried getting the same number in post paid. But then again the same story.

This was the same case 3 months back when my another number (9894895755, which I was using for 5 years) was deactivated.

I am totally upset by this, as I have given this number as reference in many places. Getting this number is mandatory for me. My work is getting affected due to this. I tried all the possible ways to get my number back. Is there any way to get my number back?

Both numbers are Tamilnadu numbers (Tirunelveli region)
