I say that, I am the subscriber of vodafone services for few years now.
I say that my number is _9819930772 and I have subscribed under one family
plan. Accordingly, in our family, we have 3 numbers being my number and 2
add on numbers being 9833761915 and 9819568516 respectively. I say that
according to the said plan, we family members having the numbers mentioned
above, are using the family plan and being certain privileges as provided by
you. The bill is issued in my name as per the plan and between the members,
the calls are free and certain discount provided thereto.
I say that due to some privileges reason we have in the family decided to change the subscription name
from myself to my daughter-in-law namely Gauri Railkar. I say that,
accordingly I enquired for the procedure of said transfer of subscription
name and issuance of bill in the name of my daughter-in-law. But inspite of
visiting the vodafone store Goregaon east and calling vodafone care i was
not told the proper procedure.
I further say that I, at various times used to come and wait and nothing
seems to happened in the matter and eventually after getting no response for
the procedure from Vodafone Care as well as from Vodafone Store at Goregaon
East, out of sheer frustration, I had to write to the Nodal Officer. I then
received a call from the said Nodal Desk and was told to go to the Store
with NOC and address proof.
I say that accordingly, I again went to the Store on 12th June, 2010. Still
none of them were clear about the procedure. Again nothing concrete
happened and after making myself and my daughter-in-law wait for more than
2½ hours on a Saturday, they demanded following documents from us, in order
to change the said ownership of our subscription viz:
1) 3 Transfer Forms.
2) Address proof of both Transferor and Transferee.
3) Pan card Xerox copy
4) New plan request (since we were informed that the prevailing plan i.e. family plan is no longer continued, therefore we have to seek the new revised plan.)
5) NOC from the current Owner.
6) Rs.1500/- as for 3 numbers deposit.
7) Unpaid bill amount till the date (without discount which we were original eligible for and would be adjusted in the June month bill statement.)
We were at last informed that the transfer would take place in 3 working days with new plan. On 7th July, 2010, we called up the Vodafone Care Service to enquire about the progress in the matter. I was informed that the transfer is still not done and we were again harassed after making about 4 calls, I was told that some relationship proof was required and deposit of Rs.1500/- was not required at all.
I say that, I enquired with the said Executives that inspite of having our 3 Vodafone numbers and one MTNL landline number with them, this point was not conveyed to us prior thereto, the executives had no answer and they rudely and abruptly cancelled the phone calls. We tried making various calls after that. Inspite thereof, they abruptly cancelled the phone and provided no answer to my query.
I say that Vodafone services is considered one of the most biggest Multinational Services Provider and has a goodwill of his own, but ironically what is stated hereinabove, itself shows how the services are being deteriorated in the course of time.
I say that I and my family have wasted too much time and energy and agony due to your negligence, deficiency of services and lack of customer care and now having been fed up of bad services, we called upon to refund the said amount of Rs.1500/- immediately on receipt of this notice. Even though the vodafone store or customer care or nodal officer has acted on the matter. My money still is with them and mental harrassment continues.
