I would like to bring to your attention slippage in the services of Airtel. I have bought a pre-paid connection from Airtel few days before, and I have submitted all the documents which was required. During getting the sim, I have been told that sim will get activated in 5-10 minutes, but it got activated very next day in the late afternoon.
The connection was working fine for few days, then suddenly it stopped. When I tried to call then automated message was saying that " Your account has been temperorily suspended due to non-submission of documents". Then I called up the customer service and asked them that I have submitted the documents, but they said that they have not received the documents. This is a clear mistake from their side, this should be a regular process for Airtel. Who got impacted here !!! Obviously me, I can not call to my family, I can not call in case of any emergency to anybody. I am new to chennai and have got very few friends whom I know and I heavily rely on mobile to get the information from my friend if need to know something.
Now they have asked me to visit Airtel branch and submit the required documents once again. This is not justified as there is no mistake from my side, then why should I suffer.
What is the process of formally complaining against Airtel.
