    Default Reliance Mobile GSM service provider is a Cheater

    Dear Sir,
    I use reliance Mobile Prepaid service. My Phone No.9692210584. I belong to Sambalpur, Orissa. I e charged my mobile on 28th March 2010 with Rs.11 SMS pack which was valid for one month and enabled me to send SMS at Rs.0.01 per SMS. On 28th April it ended and I again recharged for the same service on 30th May at 8.30 am this time paying Rs.19/- In the evening on 30th May at about 8 PM I received a msg from reliance that "Your SMS pack has been renewed and enjoy it for a month" and with it Rs.11/- got deducted from my main balance.
    I contacted Reliance Customer Service 9861098610 on 2nd May 2010( it is really a herculean task to connect to this number as you always get "error in connection msg" and you have to listen to music for at least 10 minutes before a operator answers your call and on many occasions the customer care executive disconnects the call all of a sudden and you will have toil another hour to get reconnected)
    On hearing my complain the customer care executive bluntly told me that "SMS pack 11 is an auto renewal pack and you should have contacted us before recharging it again. Since you have made the mistake it is not refundable as per policy of the company.
    Neither Reliance nor their business partner who recharged my mobile ever informed me that this was an "auto renewal pack". I wanted to talk to an senior executive but was bluntly refused that it was not possible. On my insistence a complaint was booked vide no.125561901 dtd 2/5/2010 by one Ms Priyanka. but so far I have not received the refund.
    When I contacted on 9/5/2010 again one Ms. Jyoti told me that the Customer is supposed to know about the packs before recharging. It is the company's policy not to refund money in such cases. When I insisted to talk to the head of their business first she refused and then kept me on hold for more than 30 minutes and finally disconnected.
    With the above background I need to know:


    1. How fair is the service provider to auto renew a pack without informing the customer?
    2. They seem to have kept the call center number 9861098610 inaccessible just to exploit the innocent customers.
    3. Why their business partners are not informing the details of the packs to the customers?(In fact when I asked the man who e recharged my mobile with the EMS 11 pack he told me that he never knew that it was "auto renewable")
    4. How can they charge me twice for the same service?(I recharged witn Rs.19/- and they deducted Rs.11/- for the same SMS pack on 30th April 2010)


    And Finally I urge Reliance to to refund me Rs.11/- which they have deducted from my balance without my consent immediately.

    i am thejus r.. i have a reliance gsm prepaid connection with number 8893229754...

    i have subscribed to a sms pack of Rs.39... this pack is said to be automatically renewed on the 31st day of actual subscription.... it was meant to be renewed on 23rd july 2010... it wasn't renewed that day.... so i subscribed to this package once again on 23rd july and the last date of this service on 22nd august ....but i got a message on 24th july morning that i have been subscribed to that package the package has been automatically renewed for 15 days and Rs. 19.50(half of 39) was deducted... when i called customercare they are saying that they cannot do anything and i cannot get my money back... how could they subscribe the same package once again when it is already activated.... and the last date for the service became august 7 th from august 22nd as it is reactivated for only 15 days.... at that time i thought it may have got activated on july 23rd itself and confirmation message has been recieved late (i am getting the messages only after 24 hours.... it is another problem faced from their service)...

    on august 8 th the day of renewal of the service.... it didn't get renewed...i didn't know that and i lost almost 40 rupees that day and the service hasn't been renewed... i didn't know they were deducting charges for sending sms... when i called customer care they are saying i shouldnt have send so many sms... how could they talk like that..i subscribed to that package because i send that much of messages...

    what should i do... go and subscribe the service from a retailer and getup next day to see that it has been deactivated by the reliance company and then find it reactivated for lesser number of days and the money has been deducted from my account?

    Dear Sir,
    I use reliance Mobile Prepaid service. My Phone No.9590435380. I belong to Bangalore, Karnataka.I did not Subscribe any services from my side.Last month I got a message that your subscription for caller tune is renewed and 30 rs deducted from my account.I called customer care executive and told them my problem.The response from their side is totally ridiculous.i didn't remember the name of that executive, he told me that the amount is non refundable.I told them to transfer the call to any other executive, he totally refused to transfer the call and hang up the call. i called in toll free number one more time than another customer care executive pick up the call.I told him the same, he told me to wait until he transfer the call to Bangalore branch executive, I waited for 20 minutes than he told me that all senior executive are busy and hang up the call. I calle one more time, this time i told the executive to unsubscribe all the subscription today only.He told me that he will unsubscribe all subscription within one hour.

    Today after one month on 9th august 2010, again I got a message that the subscription for caller tune is renewed and again 30 rs deducted from my account.I contacted Reliance Customer Service.
    On hearing my complain the customer care executive bluntly told me that "Subscription is renewed from your side and you should have contacted us before recharging it again. Since you have made the mistake it is not refundable as per policy of the company. I talked to the senior executive SANTOSH from BANGALORE BRANCH. The response from his side is intolerable and totally refuse to talk to me and listen to my complain . He told me that the subscription is one from your side so you have to face this.

    Neither Reliance nor their business partner who subscribed caller tumein my mobile ever informed me for that subscription and every month 30 rs is deducted from my account. I wanted to talk to an senior executive but was bluntly refused that it was not possible. On my insistence they tranfer the call and the same response i got from the executive santosh. He dont know how to deal with customer.

    I want to put my complain against reliance gsm and their services and I want my 30 rs Back.

    Default Reliance gsm kolkata rs 39 sms pack complaint

    Sir,
    Let me apprise you of the fact that today evening I had recharged my Reliance GSM number with sms pack of Rs 39, which gives 500 sms/day. BUT RS 0.01 IS BEING DEDUCTED FROM MY MAIN BALANCE PER SMS. When I try to contact Reliance Customer Care, the numbers are either busy or the phone displays ERROR IN CONNECTION.

    So, I would like to request you to kindly resolve this issue as soon as possible
