I am a new customer to Tata Indicom. I take a Tata Photon Plus Internet connection before 2.5 months. It is a routine from the side of Tata Indicome to disconnect my connection in the name of "crossing the credsit limit" without any information (though sms/telephone call or email). When I call them regarding this, they are asking to may some interim amount to reinstate the connection. This happened several times during the last 2 months.
I am a Postpaid Customer and I am ready to pay the amount if I have any excess usage. However Tata Indicom have ni right to terminate my connection that also even without informing me. This is really a harassment and irritation and because of this I lost many works worth lakhs. I even could not attend a meeting as I could not reseve air-ticket.
On Sept 1, 2010 also they barred my connection. When I called one customer support executive, she informed me to pay Rs. 500 and connection will be reinstate immediately. I went to Tata Indicom Office in Velachery and paid that amount (even I could not make payment online because their system is down for last one month and they didn't even fixed that issue). I paid the amount at 9:30 AM and by 10:00 AM the connection is suppose to be reinstate. However it doesn't happened. I made several calls, but they behaved rudely to me. The Line Activation team didn't act of my complaint. I want a suitable action from Consumer Court against Tata Indicom.
