I'm using vodafone connection for last 4 yrs in Kolkata.
On 07/06/2010 11:30 AM I've got call for activated caller tune thrice.
All the times i've ended the call with end button.
At night I've got message - "As per your request caller tune has been activated on your mobile no.
Rs. 90 Will be charged for 3 months rental" and Rupees has been deducted from my balance.
How can it be possible? However, while I'm calling customer care they're saying
that we can't give you price back and It is good to hear caller tune.
Perhaps you've activated it.

So Is this the kind of company vodafone is?
Cheating with people by giving callertune forcefully without infoming
and deduct rupees automatically.
Is this the kind of service we're paying for? Everytime cutomercare will say anything and we'will
be the ultimate victim. One more thing this the not first time this is occuring. I've faced problem
earlier also vodafone has theft Rs. 150 from me.

I am vodafone connection user.
On 10th june 2010 in afternoon I've got call to activate caller tune twice and I ended the call by pressing the end button.
In evening I've got message around 8:00 pm - "As per your request caller tune has been activated on your mobile no. & Rs. 30 Will be charged for 3 months rental" and Rupees has been deducted from my balance. They also deducted Re 1 twice when I called the vodafone customercare.

When I called customer care they're saying that we can't give you price back. Perhaps you've activated it.
They say that there is no problem in their system. But actually there are lot of problem.

Vodafone is Cheating people by giving callertune forcefully and deducting rupees automatically.
There are also other people who had complained about the same thing in consumer court forum.

The condition is such that vodafone cutomercare is doing anything and we are the ultimate victim.

Your case is same as me. Vodafone automated calling for caller tune is a faulty system.
However, you've done a good job posting your problem in this forum.

make cc to this forum and other forum if you've.
and also send mail to me also I'll forward your message as
many places as I did in my case.
One thing please remind after 12 th june nobody will entertain u.
Because it will be very late and cutomer caer will tell you to go the vodafone store which is time cuonsuming and fruitless.
So whatever you want to do just do it now.
