    Hi Guys,

This is in reference to my Vodafone 3G USB stick with mobile no. 9811236135 . This number was requested for activation on 20 July 2011 and was finally activated

on 04 August 2011 after I had to visit the Vodafone store based at JMD towers , Regent Square on Mehrauli Road and finally after speaking to them for almost 1

week finally my USB stick was activated on the above said date which was 4 August 2011 . This was a first impression that Vodafone had provided me considering

the fact that I have been using 2 Vodafone mobile connections - Postpaid for the past 5 years . To add to the impression to give a colorful tinge of frustration i was

really impressed by the fact that the first bill that I had received from the Vodafone company for 9,500 approx. This added to the impression about customer

Services .When i had purchased the connection the details as advised was 850 as Rental and Usage Limit restricted at 3GB per month . I made several calls to

customer services but they were as usual horrible I should say . They did not even have a clue of what I was referring to . Finally I spoke to a very helpful Lady

MEGHA who assisted and understood my concern and explained that the usage was charged on Prorate basis and when i disputed the same they informed me to

visit the Vodafone Store where i had purchased it from for a resolution . On 18 Sept today i finally visited the Vodafone store and spoke to a representative called

VAIBHAV. When I explained him the query he opened up the bill and usage details and showed me the charges . He advised me that the Waiver for 3 GB comes to

25000 approx wherein i had corrected him to state that the charges beyond the usage was 10p/10KB . Finally he agreed after speaking to another Rep in the store

. Then he spoke to GYAN PRAKASH who was the same person that had sold the deal. Even he was not sure on why the charges for 3 GB was 25000 approx

wherein going by the above rates should have been 30000 approx. Finally he spoke to someone senior after leaving his desk and after some time came back to me

stating that the usage charges were also made on pro-rate basis . I understood the billing aspect of it. Accordingly he showed me that the rental was charged on

pro-rate basis at the same time. The Q stands as " WHEN YOU BUY A PRODUCT FROM A STORE AND FROM A HUMAN BEING ARE THE CUSTOMERS

EXPECTED TO KNOW THE POLICIES & PROCEDURES ABOUT THE COMPANY . YOU CAN UNDERSTAND THE LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE OF YOUR

REPRESENTATIVES BY THE FACT THAT IT TOOK THEM 15 MINS TO INFORM ME THAT IT WAS A PRO RATE BASED CHARGE WHICH I WAS NEVER

COMMUNICATED ABOUT BY THE STORE OR CUSTOMER SERVICE OVER THE PHONE OR THE INDIVIDUAL CONCERNED MR. GYAN PRAKASH." The

person Mr VAIBHAV who dealt with my query advised me that it should have been informed to me about the charges and asked me to send an email to this email

address hoping to get a resolution as soon as possible.

I am without the connection at this moment since a very long time being a new Vodafone 3G customer. If this is the level of Service that I am expected to receive then I might need to change decisions.

Awaiting your reply for future decisive actions .

    Regards

Best of luck because this is the start of your problems.

A true incident is listed below

My friend was getting huge bill amount even 3 months after he had applied and confirmed that his phone number was disconnected. First month he ignored considering it was misunderstanding. But then vodafone sent him a notice and calling him and speaking in false language for paying the bills.

He then went to the vodafone store and had a verbal fight and he provided them with details of disconnection. then they agreed and accepted that it was their mistake and the number was not disconnected.
But imagine that the number was not disconnected and the phone was not used.
So he should have got a bill of not more than 300 which was the rental. BUT THE BILL AMOUNT WAS RS. 1100 /-

SO IT IS CLEAR THAT VODAFONE IS CHEATING ON THE BILLS.

NOW YOU CAN IMAGINE IF WITHOUT USING THE PHONE YOU GET THE BILL 3-4 TIMES OF THE RENTAL; THEN HOW THE CHEATING IS HAPPENING --
AND ALSO HOW IS THE SERVICE THAT HEY DO NOT KNOW HOW TO TALK TO CUSTOMERS.

You can put an email to pehredar ( Pehredar@network18online.com) or fight back ( avinash.fulsundar@bloombergutv.com ; fightback@yourmoneysite.com ) and raise this issue then maybe your problem will be solved.
