I booked Refregerator model "RA23YBMS" manufactured by M/S Samsang ON 15.04.2010 having order no. 10-TH04-10S01161 through M/S Vijay Sales.
I was advised that u book now by paying Rs. 500/-& u will get it in 4 days .. I expressed my desire to pay fully in cash & get it at earliest as I wanted to gift it to my wife on her birthday .
On 19/4 I did not receive call from M/S. Vijay Sales hence when I contacted I was told that it will take one more week. This time also none of them contacted me. I sent E-mail to M/S. Samsang & M/S Vijay sales through web site but I did not received even formal reply till date from any of them.
When I mounted pressure on M/S Vijay sales to commit firm date of delivery they started telling that model is updated by company & Ican get new model etc. I insisted to owner the commitment from their side & supply me same model which Ihad selected & booked. I was told I can get it on 27/4/10. Finally I got refregerator on 29.04.10 at 17.00 hrs. Thus date od delivery was changed 4 times.
Point here is delivery dates are not firmly committed by compny like Samsang & it is changed 3/4 times as per their will, without checking customer's convinience. Samsang did not bother to acknowledge the mail & even did not sent formal reply. M/S. Vijay sales also did not bother to reply my mail till date.
m/s. Vijay sales persons were all the time blaming Samsang for the delay. We cannot know the facts.
Only customer awareness can change such situations .
