We purchased this generator for our factory by paying more than $60000 or Rs 3800000. And within 2 years we have paid almost 30% of its price for its maintenance and faulty parts.

This is a blood sucking machine and company. Its customer service in India is ZERO level. Caterpillar Buisness partner in india which is Tractors India Private Limited (TIPL) is very poor in is service. We have to wait for weeks to get a faulty part replaced even after paying hefty amount. Our factory sits idle because of this faulty stupid product and suffered huge losses. THERE IS NO RESPONSE FROM the company. They are too big so they wont get affected but in long TERM- TRUTH PREVAILS..... a sincere request- DO NOT PURCHASE CATERPILLAR products in INDIA- for 1) Customer service ZERO. 2) Stupid careless business partners like TIPL. 3) Expensive and non available parts 4)Cummins are 500% better than them. Our businesss houses have more than 10 generators of diff brand since years and all are very good. this is the bloooood sucker machine.
