    Angry ICICI Bank's irresponsiblity

    Hello,

I, Ms. Martina Priya, had an ICICI credit card and an add-on card . I closed all the dues on 25/09/2009 and 03/10/2009. I got the report for closing the credit card through mail. Two months before (June-2010) I was trying for personal loan in HDFC and other banks, due to very important and urgent personal issue. All my loan applications had been rejected stating the negative CIBIL report. I did not have any other loan and all the loans have been closed almost a year back. So I wanted to check with all the banks I borrowed money before and called their customer care. Customer care came back with a reply stating there is no due. Then I applied for CIBIL report and got the CIBIL report 2-3 weeks later. and I could see that the credit card loan from ICICI is still showing current balance of 75, 507 rupees. Due to this irresponsible action from ICICI, I had gone through so much mental pressure and financial troubles. When we delay even 10-15 days, ICICI bank is ensuring the borrower name is on CIBIL report. But they are way too irresponsile when the borrower pays the loan back. For the amount of stress I had gone through, I want to sue them in the court. Now I need to ensure that my CIBIL record is properly updated. And I can see in this forum that I am not the only one who is suffering in this similar issue. I hope ICICI bank credit card department will ensure making my records clean as they are supposed to be.
