On 14 aug 10, i went to aramex corrier franchise at pathankot to send a rakhi courier to by brother in law in toronto,canada.the owner told me that charges upto 500 gms would be rs 1100/.i asked if i can send shirts along with it & if it will cost anything additional.he confirmed negaitive...no additional expenditure will be levied on it at any stage.
Now the courier has been held by custom & they telling my brother in law to come to bancover with 50$. Bancover is at a quite a distance from designated address & why should my brother in law pay.
It was company who concealed information when i approched them.i would have not send the parcel had i been made aware about this additional expenditure.i had spoken to company officers no of time & mailed them also but in vain.they are not responding to me.would like to sue them in consumer court as this has cuased lot of harrassment to me & my family.
