I HAD BOOKED A BOSS ePHONE 3300 ONLINE FROM NAAPTOL. I RECEIVED IT ON 22/7/2010 FOR WHICH I HAD PAID RS 3999 + RS 200, TOTAL RS 4200 FOR THIS PACKET.
SINCE FIRST DAY, I FOUND THE COMPLAINT THAT THE PHONE IS SHOWING THE ERROR MESSAGE ABOUT THE BATTERY ONLY WITHIN FEW MINUTES OF CHARGING AND EVEN AFTER KEEPING IT FOR LONG TIME THE BATTERY IS NOT GETTING CHARGED EVEN 25% OF THE TOTAL.
ON COMPLAINING TO NAAPTOL, I WAS INFORMED THAT THE PROBLEM SEEMS TO BE WITH THE CHARGER AND I WILL GET A REPLACEMENT CHARGER IN NEXT 8-10 DAYS.
HOWEVER, EVEN AFTER REPEATED FOLLOWUP EVERY WEEK WITH NAAPTOL CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVES, I HAVENT RECEIVED CHARGER TILL NOW.
FINALLY, ON 8TH AUG, I WAS INFORMED BY MR. PAPPU MEHTA THAT IF I DONT GET CHARGER IN NEXT 4-5 DAYS, I WILL GET MY FULL MONEY BACK IN REFUND.
ON MY NEXT APPROACH ON 18TH AUG, I TALKED WITH SAURIN AND ASKED HIM TO GET ME TO SOME SENIOR MANAGER WHOM I CAN TALK. BUT HE REFUSED AND ITERATED THAT I WILL GET CHARGER BY 23rd AUG, FAILING TO WHICH I CAN GO TO CONSUMER COURT & FILE A COMPLAINT.
TODAY ITS 28th AUG AND I STILL HAVENT RECEIVED ANYTHING FROM NAAPTOL. THIS MORNING I TALKED TO ZAHEER AND HE INFORMED ME TO POSE COMPLAINT ON THE WEBSITE, WHICH I HADD ALREADY POSTED ON 14th AUG BUT NOT RECEIVED ANY RESPONSE FROM THEM AS WELL.
THIS IS A VERY SERIOUS MATTER AS I PAID THE FULL VALUE OF OUR PRODUCT AND I GOT A DEFECTIVE PIECE.
I AM NOT SURE IF THERE ARE ANY OTHER DEFECTS WITH THE PHONE AS I HAVEN'T YET STARTED USING IT MUCH.
I NOW REQUEST YOU TO REFUND ME THE FULL AMOUNT OF THE PRODUCT ALONG WITH ALL MY TELEPHONE EXPENSES THAT I HAD SPEN ON FOLLOWING UP WITH NAAPTOL, OR I WILL BE FORCED TO TAKE SERIOUS LEGAL ACTIONS TO RECOVER THE AMOUNT I HAD SPENT SO FAR.
IF I DO NOT GET OUR REFUND BACK OR ANY REPLY IN WRITING WITHIN THE NEXT 2 DAYS, I WILL BE FORCED TO GO FOR COMPLAINT WITH CONSUMER PROTECTION COUNCILL AND WILL NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENCIES THERE AFTER.
