    Default Faulty Mobile deliverd by naaptol.com

    I had purchased Boss Mobile e Phone 3300 vide orderno. 417786. I had booked this after viewing Naaptol.com Ad in Times of India. It said that the mobile comes with a 6 month warranty.

    It was delivered to me on 02/06/2010.

    After 15 days the touch screen stopped functioning.

    I contacted naaptol call centre.

    I was bluntly told that although I have a warranty for 6 months I will have to Pay Rs.1200/- for touch screen.

    I Want to fight the case.

    Default BOSS 33 Sleek mobile - order no. 209427 of 09/03/2010 purchased thru Naaptol

    (i) Mobile is not working since purchase (6 months' warrantee is assured by Naaptol!):
    - Touch Screen erratic
    - Speaker does not work in normal mode (no sound)
    - Battery gets discharged in 3-4 hrs
    (ii) I tried to take up the matter with Helpline nos., but got vague & evasive replies, i.e.,:
    - Send the set thru courier (no address was provided ven after repeated calls)
    - For touch screen, I will be charged Rs. 1200/-
    - I will have to pay for the battery (was told that for battery only 1 month warrantee is there!)
    (iii) When I tried to argue that the set is defective & not functional since purchase, the phone was cut off (this happened many times the moment I disclosed the order nr.)
    Will you, please, help? I stay in Mumbai (Cell: 9423581189)

    It is disappointing to know that you had a bad experience on your purchase of Boss e Phone 3300 from Naaptol.com. I would like to apologize for the inconvenience caused to you.

    However, we would like to inform you that as mentioned in the User manual of Boss e Phone 3300, the touch screen warranty is liable only for 24 hours from the day of delivery.
