On 26th October 2011, I purchased a Nokia C2-00 Handset worth Rs.2650/-.Later I activated the Handset with Airtel on 4th November 2011. After using 4 several days I learnt that there is problem with Handset that whatever I hear from the ear piece was also audible with the equivalent frequency on Loudspeaker of the cell phone without selecting the Loudspeaker option available during the call.

Due to this my personal information/talks were audible to the public inside the train and various other public places wherever I used the phone.

I submitted the phone to Nokia Cell Care at Ulhasnagar on 10th Nov 2011. Later, when the cell phone I received on 19th November 2011, still the phone was not at all repaired and the Nokia Cell Care representative argued that it is the feature of the phone that it is audible on the both side but I want to correct you'll that none of the Nokia phones I have has such
a feature rather a defect and none of the other company would ever sell such a cell phone. I again submitted the cell phone to the same Nokia Cell Care, later I received the cell on 3rd December 2011. Again this time to my disappointment the issue was not fixed.

Do you people, believe from the day I have purchased it, it is not with me and it is with the Nokia Company itself. I am not leveraging the money spent on it. Following are the other details- >> > >

This is a very irresponsible behavior towards the customer, its very irritating for me to chase up with you people considering the extended lag time for fixing a small issue with few people term it as a feature. I want my cell by Wednesday i.e. 21st December 2011 in Ulhasnagar Nokia Cell Care "WITH THE PROBLEM FIXED". If this time the cell phone I receive is not fixed then I shall move to the consumer forum for cheating me. Also If the problem cannot be fixed then we can negotiate for another solution.

Today is 6th Jan 2012 n they are playing the same game. When I have demanded the refund of the amount spent on purchase of the handset they are refusing by saying

"As per our previous communication, we would like to inform you that as per the update received from our regional team, your Nokia device is ready at the Nokia Care Center and working properly. Hence we request you to visit the Nokia Care Center and validate the performance of your Nokia device. In case you face any concern, we request you to revert with the same. Further we are not in the position to comment on your request of the refund."

Really dont know what to do in this situation.
