I have purchased micromax q5 model mobile on 14th march 2010.imei no of the phone is 910040051523525 and 910040052028524. Its only 5 months of using this phone i am getting the problems with this phone. The track ball of this phone does not work properly also some of the keypad buttons also stopped working, and on one day the phone got switched off completely,i am trying to charge it but of no use,phone does not got start. When i am trying to call on the numbers of the service support center given in the booklet i am getting a message of switched off,phone number does not exist etc.micromax company is a fraud company having no service center, they have given false no and addresses of the service center in the booklet given in the box. Through this forum i want a strict action against this company so that no other person will get cheated on buying the micromax mobile.

Hi I have a similar complain I had purchased a Q5fb less than 5months back it worked ok (for receiving and making) however the features (chat etc..) in it is not as what the the manual or their website speaks abt its all a hoax they have misguided the Indian public. My complain is that my phone went off somedays back assuming it ran out of battery power i tried charging it but now its been 5days and am unable to switch it on. I tried calling 0124-4009601 & 02 which is published on the web site but its either busy and if its picked up its left on the desk unspoken and later disconnected, very very bad service I would adv all not to go in for any Micromax as they seems to be a cheat.
