Hi, I am Roshan Shetty residing in Hyderabad, i hereby wish to raise a complaint against Nokia for not owning up the pathetic service provided by their Nokia care unit. I purchased a Nokia E71 in August 2009 and the phone in under warrenty still. When i was in Delhi my phone would not charge and hence i took the phone to Nokia Care in Noida sector 2 - Micronas telecom for repair which is the authorised nokia care center as Nokia claims that the phone needs to be repaired only by an authorised service center. I realised that the unit there was a money making racket and they claimed that there has been water logging issue with my phone and henc they need to charge me money...I am ok with this as water loggin according to Nokia can also be due to moisture...the worst part starts after the repair the microphone is not working properly and the people started complaining that my voice quality is very bad and they can hardly hear me, initially i assumed that to be a network issue however i was convinced when i changed my handset for a day and checked it was not the network but my phone issue. By this time i was in Bangalore and hence took the phone to the Nokia care in Bangalore - Jayanagar and was surprised to find out that my phones microphone was physically damaged as the previous care center had soldered something over my microphone and since it was a physical damage the waranty does not stand good. My take on this is the phone was hampered by the authorised nokia care center and they need to own up the error and should provide a suitable resolution for the same. Dissapointed by this i called the Nokia helpline and the resolution i got was i need to visit the same Nokia care in Noida sector 2 and then will try to provide a resolution. this is out of question because i am not a frequesnt vistor to Delhi and this was my first visit. For me as a customer any Nokia care authorised by Nokia is a responsibility of Nokia and issues like these needs to be addressed without mental torture for the customer. Now i shout at the top of my voice to ensure the person on the other end atleast get to hear what i am trying to say... I am in a role that requires a lot of telephonic conversations with the clients and this issue is not only hindering my work but also hampering my health. The Nokia care executive was least friendly and was not ready to listen to my problem.
