I had purchased E52(sealed set) on Friday afternoon 24/10/2010 from Nokia priority in Gurgaon IFFCO Chowk.On Saturday evening i noticed manufacturing defect where the keypad of the phone is not fitted properly.I approached the dealer today (Sunday being a weekend i was busy with my prior commitments) and showed him the manufacturing defect and asked for a replacement he replied Nokia care would replace the same as Nokia dealers as per rules can replace it with 24 hours of sale only.

I approached Nokia care in Gurgaon they initial said there is no manufacturing defect in the phone however on careful examination they agreed and said they cann't replace the same and can repair the manufacturing defect and in case of replacement on Nokia dealer can only replace the phone and gave me Nokia care center number.

I have registered a complaint for the manufacturing defect with Nokia customer care centre with Service request number 1-11194961656 however they are also asking to get phone repaired for the manufacturing defect.


This is unethical and unacceptable by Nokia as having spent Rs12000/- of hard earned money they are selling defected mobile handsets.I would request to kindly look into it.An early reply from Nokia will be highly solicited.
