I purchased a Nokia X6 in October 2010, The handset was a good piece of equipment and i had done my research before buying it. however there was a persistent issue with the side screen lock, there was a problem with the circuitry and i gave it for repair along with a battery issue to Nokia repair centre, Gupta enterprises, Vaishali, Ghaziabad. It took them 3 days to repair the phone and hand it back. I was impressed by the professional service and good response. I am a very careful user of the phone and i handle it with utmost devotion. Recently the side lock slider key fell out, so i took the handset to the nokia repair centre where i was told the it constitutes to physical damage and is not covered under warranty and the cost of the mere lock is Rs1500/-. Now i feel cheated, I have taken good care of my handset and to get it in good serviceable condition again i have to invest more than 10% of the cost of the phone for a meager key. I called up the nokia care centre but the executive was not at all helpful. Now i am in a fix as to how to deal with the issue. Whether i should let them bully customers into paying unreasonably for a faulty design or just swallow the injustice and pay through my nose for a silly repair.
