Dear Sir,

I have purchase a Blackberry Phone for Rs 24000 in September 2009.

Immediately after buying the phone it had a technical snag and i went back to the dealer; he refused to take the phone back and advised to contact Redington India Ltd.

After series of follow ups with the dealer; I gave up and approached Redington India Ltd. They convinced me to approach service center and leave the phone for Inspection. Phone was eventually sent to Bangalore for repairs and cam back after few weeks with so called repaired condition for following issues:
1) Keys getting stuck.
2) Scratching effect while pressing keys.
3) Back cover is loose and keeps moving while message is typed.
4) Phone Hanging while typing an email

Within days phone again started with the same problem besides some other post repair technical issues such as:
1. Network loss issue
2. Phone Hanging while typing an email
3. Battery lasts only few hours
4. Keys scratchy

After the problem aggravated, I called the Redington call center and requested to change the phone since it makes no sense to continue with the phone having some inherent defect. I was advised to visit Redington service center to show the problem to them.
Redington team acknowledged the problem but advised me to keep the phone with them for next steps.
I did this again and the problem persist and the only thing Redington keeps telling me is that leave the phone again for service.

Ideally the handset should have been replaced in the beginning itself- when I complained about the issues but I was always given to understand by Redington that the phone is repaired and the problem will not recur.

I have sent around 25 emails to Redington and RIM but they are doing nothing else than buying time.

Regards,

Rahul
