I have purchased a Samsung fit mobile in August' 2011 & the Mobile is still under warranty period.
Complaint no at Samsung : 8437037851 dated 31.10.2011
I was using a pattern lock since beginning in this mobile. Once when I attempted approx 5 wrong patterns, the mobile displayed a message that please try after approx 6 seconds. After that time I again tried with correct pattern & my mobile got unlocked,
But on 31.10.2011, when in morning I tried to use the mobile instead of pattern lock it is asking for a email id & associated password, which I have never created & registered on this mobile. Also you will appreciate that never a requirement of email id & password was raised in the display of mobile while creating the pattern lock. And during my trial also by using the wrong pattern multiple times I was never warned that you will require a email id & password for unlocking the mobile. Instead after a few seconds I was able to unlock my mobile with correct pattern
Now I am being told by Samsung team to contact the service centre to unlock the mobile. The service centre at Bhikaiji Cama Place, UG-25, Ansal Chamber II.
The service centre is saying that unlocking service by the service centre shall be provided on chargeable basis only & it does not matter whether it is under warranty or not.
This is just punishment to customer without any fault of customer.
In view of above you are requested to do the needful & direct the Samsung (India) accordingly.
