Hi,
I bought a brand new Sony Ericsson (U100i) during last week of May 2010. Since then I had problems with key pad of the handset. I visited Sony Ericsson's authorized service center on 5th of June in Vashi, Mumbai. They investigated and told, some water particles (Sweat) went inside, and warranty would not be given for that. So I agreed to pay what ever charges applicable for replacing the key pad.
Since spares are not available with that service center, they asked me to wait for max 1 week. Again I called them on 10th of June 2010, still they didn't receive the key pad spare part. So to speed up the process, I decided to follow up this from Sony Ericsson call center and raised a complaint with them on 11th of June 2010.
After that, I had very bad experiences...whenever I call that call center they kept the call for a while and tell part will be dispatched in 4 working days...It has been more than a month now...
I have also approached another level of escalation (i.e. mail to : Sony Ericsson) on 10th of July, but didn't get any trustable response.
