I just bought a Sonyericsson Xperia X10 almost a month back it costed apprx. 31K after 15 days due to software error I approached the service centre they reprogrammed it and returned back after waiting almost 4hrs in service centre and when I recieved the phone it was getting reset and same day it was showing a message no sim deducted next day I submited the phone in the same service centre they told me they will give a call by 3 'O' clock after checking the same nobody called me till 4 I called them and they told me it will take 5 days it was on June 29th they told me the board has to replaced.

Since I was not comfortable dealing with a 3rd party service centre I called sonyericsson same day on toll free number '1800-11-1800' one of the executive told me you will get the handset on friday for 100% I was planning to buy a new handset for temporary use as it was very imposrtant for me to available on my no. after hearing this I thought of avoiding the same for 2-3 days on friday service centre told me to give a call on next week and sonyericsson executive told me to wait for some more time and he cannot commit the date as well.
Today on 6th July again called both service centre and sonyericcson both told me pls wait for 'some more' time cannot commit the date service centre told me they have ordered for the part and waiting for the part to reach from sonyericsson.

I had dealt with many vendors but never faced this kind of an approach to the end customer from any one even a local brand is providing better service.

Local service centre which is the ASP for many other brands like vedeocon etc.
There is ony 2 executives handle the customers and are common for all of thier other clients many of them are waiting for hrs to get thier turn.

Can somebody help me in resolving the same??
Since it is less than a month old handset is there any Dead or Arrival policy for replacement??
Any way this will be my last product of sony as well as sonyericcson & since am a techy many of the people consult me for purchasing any gadgets I will make sure those will stay away from the brand Sony/Sonyericsson
