Dear Sir,
1. I had purchased a Videocon mobile Model V1705, No 910040090163887, from M/s Sanghavi Infocomm, Jignesh Niwas, opp Raymonds Showroom,Station Road, Vasai West, vide Invoice No 3884 dtd 14 Dec 2010.
2. The said Mobile handset developed a problem, where I could not hear anything on dialing/receiving a call, hence I approached the showroom, who directed me to see the Authorised Service Centre i.e M/s Tapan Electronics, Geetha Bhavan, Anand Nagar, Vasai West.
3. The Technican there on inspecting/seeing the handset told me that there is a problem with the motherboard and that I will have to deposit the same with them for replacement of handset. Also he told me that it will take about more than 15 to 20 days for replacement to come.
4. Further to my complaint dtd 23 mar 2011, and having handedover the mobile for repairs on 28/03/2011 to the Authorised Service Centre i.e M/s Tapan Electronics, Geetha Bhavan, Anand Nagar, Vasai West on 28 mar 2011, vide complaint receipt no ID: TE/VS/VIO/03107 dtd 28/03/2011, the same was returned to me as having repaired by replacing with a new main motherboard no 910040090045357. When I took delivery on 14 april 2011, the set seemed to be working normal, but now the same original problem has again started.i.e the screen displays the message that " earphone plugged in & at times earphone plugged out" automatically and I can neither receive any call or speak to the caller without putting the speakerphone in " on position."
In view of the above I feel that I have suffered too much of this Mobile phone within a period of two months from the date of purchase i.e in December 2010.
Hence I would like to request you to please replace the set with any other model of the same cost and that does not have any such problems, since I am not in a position to run around. My mobile number is 9767732771.
