Dear Sir,
I had made a portability from Vodaphone to Airtel by giving me a lot of wrong assurance by an executive from a Airtel. After taking an Airtel connection, within one week I had called on customer care and requested for activating Rs 98/- per month for 1 GB internet usage plan. Then after a month I had activated 3G connection. But I had deactivated as the 3G charges is high.( All are recorded in Airtel customer service centre). All of a sudden they again activated my GPRS services (3G) without my permission. When I had called the Customer Care services and ask them how can they activate any services on my phone without my intimation.They have told me that I am getting 3G services free for 2 GB with my Nokia N8 hand set for two months which will expire on 23rd November 2011.So before ending the tenure i.e on 20th November 2011 at 7.33pm I had deactivated my GPRS services from my mobile. But when I receive my airtel bill I am really shocked to see the amount which is totally inflated. I've invoiced Rs 6731.72. I called up several time to the customer care executive for last 15 days after receiving my bill and also want to speak to the senior most people about the discrepancy of my bill amount, but they don't bother to give me the name nor the contact numbers. Several times I called the customer care I need to explain the whole story to each and every guys, but none can solved my problem even I told repeatedly that 21st Dec '11 is my due date of my bill payment henceforth I will be charge more as a fine. Even today I told the customer care executive that uses made by me was within a limit(i.e 2GB and uses is 910000kb make 0.867 GB), but one of the executive told me that I have cross the limit of 2GB and made an use of 3 GB. I hope the calculation of KB & GB was not cleared to the executive. More or less I had deactivated my 3G services on 20th November 2011 and not used hence afterwards. But they had charged me from the 20th morning. I repeatedly told them to give the concern authorities to get it clarified then only I will pay but none of them can explain me why they have charge me. So I need your help to solve the problem at the earliest or I will be forced to filing at Consumer dispute redressal forum in accordance with U/Sec 12 of C.P Act 1986.
Moreover I am attaching the bill of Oct-Nov and Nov-Dec 2011 to see the difference you have made in two bills with more or less same uses made within the limit.
