Dear sir ,
I am force to register a complaint in this forum even after sending mails more than 10 times to the airtel concerned person in Mumbai , Malad office .
When i was working with my earlier company i had taken this broad band connection account no: 14308649 , 022 40145273 _mh and when i left this company i had informed airtel customer care , thru calls and written mails ( i have copy of the mails) to disconnect the connection in my name .
I regret to inform you that inspite of several follow up mails and calls to Airtel customer care to cancel the Account , went unheard and now suddenly out of nowhere I am being held responsible for non payment of a meager amount that I have no idea of.
on 14/03/2011 - complaint no: 704646 , i had informed airtel customer care to cancel the account no: 14308649 for the broad band connection 022 40145273 _mh for which the outstanding was Rs 535 and i had cleared the same against the transaction no: 302006.
and after 2 days some one from Airtel had came to our office and taken the router also .
When I had left from Mahindra logistics my erstwhile company , I had informed airtel team for the cancellation and no-one from airtel end bothered to revert back ,
Suddenly on Saturday 15/-10/2011 - one Mr S .K Singh self addressed as the Bharti Airtel Advocate from Delhi calls up to inform that a case has been filed against Self for an outstanding of Rs.3120/- in Delhi high court , if i do not pay this they will file the case in Delhi high court and ask for 1 lkh rupees penalty . This was a panic situation for me then suddenly i went to the Airtel Galleria (Malad West) Mumbai , when i checked up with the customer care they had informed me that a complaint was registered on 14.03.2011 for the cancellation.

I was shocked when the customer service executive cross checked with my 022-40145273 number, in the airtel system was showing that the Account belongs to one Mr.Ashish Bajaj to the contrary again when we checked with my account number 14308649 it was showing my name such was the perfection of the ridiculous system. When i crosschecked with my ex company colleagues they informed me that they are not using the airtel connection after march 2011 and Self being held responsible for the usage of someone else .This cannot be acceptable from AIRTEL . To add to the agony airtel legal person Mr.Ramesh Jadav,Assistant to Mr.S.K .Singh keeps on threatening me about the case.
Today 31-dec-2011 again a person self addressed as an advocate for airtel from delhi called and started threatening me .
After the visit from the airtel galleria , the customer executive had given 2 contact persons
rajashri.khambete@airtel.in and shamali.dhairyawan@airtel.in , who can help and solve my issue but sad to say even after telling them that i will approach the consumer forum they didnt show any respect to the customer .
This was a very sad incident for me as a customer of Airtel , since i am using there service for the last 6 years ,and now i had started to hate this brand .
Please treat this case as urgent and try to resolve ASAP .
