I had bought an airtel 3G data card (No 8130597422) post paid connection on 31/12/2011 from Dwarka Communication, G-6&7, Sec-4, Dwarka, New Delhi for Rs 1600/-. Since from the very first day the service was really bad and I could hardly use the card. I contacted Airtel customer executives repeatedly to solve this problem but their solution did not work at all (records could be verified from Airtel). Meanwihile, I recd my first bill for the period (08Dec 2011 to 07 Jan 2012) amounting Rs 167.22P, which I paid on 17 Jan 2012. Due to the poor signal of the 3G network, I stopped using the data card.
Finally, I decided to convert the post paid connection to prepaid and approached the shop owner for the same but I was surprised to learn that there was an outstading bill of Rs 2150/- against my number. For your info, I was having a plan of Rs 100/- per month and the bill cap was Rs 750/-. I told them that due to unavailability of the network, I was not using the data card but they hardly listened my concern instead, insisted to pay the bill first in order to convert the connection to pre paid. At last I paid Rs 2150/- on 19 Jan 2102to convert the same. For 20 day's connection I had to pay Rs 2317/- though I was in hundred rupees monthly plan.
I request your honour to look into the matter and find the truth and if possible my hard earned money be refunded by the Airtel company after adjusting the actual usages.
