I am posting this complaint behalf of my father in law. My father in law Bhalchandra Jadhav who is a senior citizen resides in Bharuch and holding an IDEA connection no. 9427451966. He is using this IDEA connection for last 4 months. His average monthly bill is around 300 . However last (Dec 2011) month he received a bill for 747 Rs. He was shocked to see the amount as the amount was unusually very high. He went to idea gallery in Bharuch ( located at Jawahar muncipal market) to find out why the bill amount was high.Upon investigation from itemised bill it was revelaed that, there was a call to IDEA special no (54040- astrology services) on 14th Dec 2011 at 4.56 AM which lasted for 60 odd minutes for which IDEA had charged him 426 Rs.

This was very surprising as why would anyone call to Astrology services at such odd hours. He tried to defend his case with the customer care executive and also showed him the logs for 1 month in his mobile to prove that he never made call to this no. However the executive was adamant to listen to his argument and refused to revert the charges. After huge efforts from my father-in-Law's side to convince him, executive agreed to revert half the amount of the call ( 200 Rs. Which he said would be credited in Father-in-Laws account in next two months ).

There is a serious mistake from idea's side that they are wrongly charging for the services to a customer which customer has never used and even after complaint they are refusing to revert back the chagres as my father in law is senior citizen around 73 years old unable to put forward his side strongly. Hence I am seeking some help in getting a justice to him .
