This is to bring to your notice that Idea cellular isn't really a worth company to deal with.
The customer care call center is outsourced, the call center agents work for meager money and hence, donot even care to resolve customer's issues.
This is what I came to know recently. Inspite of getting an add-on activated by one of the agents on call with me july, i kept getting elevated bills for months untill i checked to find out that the add on has not been activated.
i called back the customer service, the retention and then even the nodal office. I spoke to someone called Rahul Nimbadar who promised to pull out the call and give me rebate. however, I haven't received any call backs. The number he provided me to call back is fake and no one really picks that.
Besides, they have generated another bill without solving my earlier query and it is still elevated. I have finally decided to let go Idea and move to vodaphone.
Thanks to portability option, would love to keep this number.
I would strongly recommend, everyone NOT TO TAKE POST PAID CONNECTION from Idea. They really don't deserve to be in the market due to their poor customer service and retention policies.
If anyone from the senior management is listening, you guys really need to fire your entire middle management staff and work on your customer service polices .
