Respected Sir,
This is regarding billing disputes with the IDEA Mobile Post Paid connection for the number 9718311713.
Recently I got my idea bill of my no-9718311713 which is of amount :11140.01
in which amount 9819.28 is for GPRS uses. I was also using 98 Rs. 2GB internet plan.
My every month bill says that my credit limit is Rs.2000/-. Any consumer would like to limit their usage according to their budget they have for the mobile bill, when the bill says the credit limit is Rs.2000 anyone would understood that their usage will not be allowed beyond that.
Generally Uses should not be allowed beyond credit limit for any reason without consumer confirming or requesting to increase the limit but in my case I have never given any such request to increase my credit limit from Rs.2000/-.
I have never received any calls or SMS to alert that the limit was exceeded or my uses is reaching beyond my credit limit.
Idea’s service to check unbilled amount(*147#) always shows wrong amount and it never shows GPRS capacity I have used. The proof is incident of February when my outgoing service was blocked from 16/02/2011. When I called to their customer care they informed me that your uses limit had exceeded your credit limit according to them it was Rs. 25000(aprox). But when bill get generated in the next month it was marly Rs. 400. At that time also I suffered for more than 15 days.
Now the question is why should I suffer because of the discrepancy in there billing and alert system. And why should I pay the bill of Rs. 11140/- which is beyond my credit limit. I have already paid Rs. 2000 which is my credit limit before due date.
If this is the way Idea charges, they may charged a customer to the extent(say 50,000) where its become impossible for him to pay the bill.
I am very disturbed because they(Idea people) are calling me time and again with abusive language and saying me to pay the rest of the amount.
.
Sir please do something to avoid such inconvenience to the customers.
A line of reply will be highly appreciated.
Pankaj Tiwary
